Thanks to SmartStartMecklenburg and to ROSA for having me for World Read Aloud Day and for Reading Night this week. From pre-K through Middle School and beyond, reading is fundamental--and these babies are brilliant! Don't forget to support your local bookstores or independent stores on bookshop.org! by @vbowmanfoundationforeducation

Minding my Black owned business this month as we have officially completed the transfer of Embrew Tea, plus a few local book events! Taking time, space and lots of sips because this world is a lot, but I have some on hand (just message in the meantime) and plan to keep curating my cup collection. Also hoping everyone is finding their space and support 💜 by @vbowmanfoundationforeducation

Enjoyed our first Night at the Museum with a very special author Vivian Ward Newton and the first Augusta visit for Embrew Tea. Looking forward to more stories in Spring! taken in Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History by @vbowmanfoundationforeducation

More info at wrdw.com--can apply in four ways: online by visiting disasterassistance.gov, calling 800-621-3362, on the FEMA App, or by visiting disaster recovery centers.

After registering, you may also get aid to repair storm damage to homes and replace property, as well as help finding a place to stay.
