Artists deserve to feel safe everywhere.. ❤️‍🩹🔥
………..

“When the Voyager Platform was first created under its old name, its chief mission of mine was to provide safety measures alongside filmmaking.

After doing so much research and encountering stories of various abuse and mistreatment in the entertainment industry or Hollywood settings, I’d decided that it was time to establish some kind of system that would protect talent and future collaborators of all kinds from the real dangers that may arise in the industry.

It started off with creating contracts that went over strict and protective safety measures prior to production and now it’s led to this, the creation of the Driscoll Rescue Center (DRC), which is now at its new home at my mental health outreach @asystemoflove . It’s named after actor Bobby Driscoll as a means to give tribute to the hardships, addictions, (and possible violations) he faced in his career before his death. It’s also set to honor other deceased or living artists who have been through all kinds of industry atrocities and tragedies.

To any talent or anyone working in entertainment, my promise is to fight for your protection and security in entertainment landscapes. The Voyager Company joins hands with ASOL’s DRC page in order to make this a consistent mission of mine.

Please stay tuned for resources and even stories of those who were able to overcome industry traumas and also those who didn’t make it but deserve their stories to be told as well.

The VC platform also takes this time to stand with @epsteinsurvivorsisters & all other Epstein victims. The platform recognizes these incredible women and their bravery including the late Virginia Giuffre ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻🌹”

“‘Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns…’ (Matt 6:26)

A contrast between nature and the highly tech world of Nuevo York, 2099. Looking at these concept generated images is a reminder of a world where nature is limited in terms of knowing where and when to rest in a world highly dominated by corporate futuristic environments and conglomerates.

All too significant in the sense that it captures those who might not be at rest themselves considering life in Nueva York, 2099 plus Capitalism’s evolution, its celebration of the man on top and its persecution of the man on the bottom..

Deep thoughts & concepts for the Thorites series. With that being said, the Thorites Casting Call has been postponed to tomorrow due to illness on my part! Stay tuned and thank you 🎥❤️”

Note from founder & filmmaker @mdevonofficial

“After close to maybe 5 years of thinking about this project, seeing this little Spider-Man bit or opening is a bit of a dream come true. I got a bit teary eyed as I thought I wouldn’t get even to this point of the production process regarding my vision for the film.

But I’m excited to embark on this journey. Please wish me luck as well as my growing crew & cast including @bakari.shu who joins as a Thorite 🌘🔥🌹.

I’ve been in love with Spider-Man films since I was a little girl and my prayer is to just honor all the films by doing this short film and the concept episodes following it.

I’m nervous but I know I got it! Thank you for any support and God bless.” 🙏🏿🌹
