St.Croix island vibes, Bucaneer resort hard courts, and a new career-high ITF ranking of 2916. 🚀🌎 Loved making it to the quarterfinals in singles, winning in doubles, and eating my weight in the many historic downtown food spots!

St. Croix, you were amazing! 🏝️🍕🏆

At Van Der Meer Tennis Academy, we train hard, have fun, and grow together. 🎾

Our junior players come from all ages and levels, but what makes this academy special is the way they support one another. They cheer each other on, push each other to get better, celebrate each other’s progress, and help each other persevere through the toughness.

We compete hard on the court, but off the court, we’re building friendships, confidence, and a family.

It’s not just about becoming better tennis players — it’s about becoming better teammates, better friends, and better people.

Train hard. Have fun. Compete. Grow. Support each other. 🎾🦾🙌🏼

That’s Van Der Meer.
That’s family.

Ozaki Cup 🏆 was one of the best tournaments I've ever played in! Battling through each match with my amazing coach @baldbrian1 by my side and all of my awesome teammates from South Carolina! 🎾🎾 It was so cool playing against the best players in the Southern Section of the US! 🇺🇸What an honor it was to be invited! 🌟With a 6-2 record and my only singles loss in a tie breaker 12-14 I am so pumped to have represented SC proud!
Let's go!!!💪🎾🏆

Thank you @teamdunloptd @rtptennis @vdmtennis

🎾 STOP TAKING YOUR OPPONENT’S SCORE PERSONALLY.

Being behind doesn’t automatically mean you’re playing badly. It means the match is asking you for a better response. 🔥

The scoreboard is information—not a judgment of your ability, your confidence or your worth as a player.

Instead of thinking:

❌ “I’m losing.”
❌ “They’re better than me.”
❌ “I have to win this whole set back.”

Bring your attention back to something you can control:

👉 The next three-ball pattern.
👉 Your feet.
👉 Your target.
👉 Your commitment.

Win the next three balls—not the entire match in your head.

That is how momentum changes: one clear intention, one committed response and one point at a time. 💪✨

The score may tell you where you are—but your response determines where you go next. 🏆

Save this for the next time the scoreboard starts controlling your mind. 🎾
