I’d like to formally apologize for the lack of updates these past few days in addition to Mason’s attempt to fake my death just a few days ago, I know this No Facebook February has been an emotional rollercoaster! I’m here now to say I am under the weather so it’s even harder to remember to post on Facebook about not posting on Facebook these past few days! I’m currently in day 4 of the battle for health to over come the common cold, which feels like a direct parallel to the principals of No Facebook February!

Day 6 of No Facebook February. 22 days to go.

It turns out the real world is way more stressful than I remembered. Conversations don’t have “like” buttons. Thoughts don’t come with automatic applause or even the “clap” button. And don’t get me started on the silence — it’s terrifyingly loud. My thoughts screaming at me like my dog Ash wanting to go out.

As a performer, I didn’t realize how much I relied on an audience. I miss the energy, the feedback, the constant reassurance that I exist in a meaningful way. Without it… it’s just me, trying to figure out who I am while my brain occasionally wonders if anyone is actually listening.

And somehow, in this painfully analog world, I’ve started seeing glimpses of something bigger — maybe a singularity? Or maybe just the ceiling. Hard to tell.

Still here. Still adjusting. Still committed to 28 days of “being a person instead of a content machine.”
