‘Vector is the mind-killer’. Last one for 2021. Been an on-off passion project ever since I saw the film, but finally here’s my alternative poster illustration for the best film of 2021 (in my view)… Dune, featuring Darth V… I mean Baron Harkonnen! Swipe ➡️ for keyline, alternative version and details…

“No.” Could do with a bit of Neo-style reality tinkering right now. Watched the Matrix again the other night - still a great movie, although a bit green in hue! Here’s my vector all-done-on-the-ipad alternative movie poster tribute to this classic - weirdly the vector outlines look just like the Matrix 🤔 (swipe ➡️ to view). Looking forward to Four!

REALLY looking forward to seeing Project Hail Mary! Here’s my fan art alternative movie poster illustration for the film, with Ryan Gosling on a mission to save the world with the help of an unlikely ‘Rocky’ companion, based on the excellent book by Andy Weir and brought to life by the talented duo of Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Loosely inspired by a famous fresco by a certain Renaissance artist (can you figure it out) and all drawn in the slightly more contemporary medium of vector art - swipe to check out the line work - in Affinity Designer on the iPad.

DUNESDAY.

One day two universes will collide… December 18th to be precise.

Here’s my alternative movie poster (reworked from one of my old Dune illustrations) celebrating the marvellous mash up that is Dune 3 and Avengers: Doomsday being released on the same day!

Starring Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.

Which one are you most looking forward to seeing? 👀

#dune #avengersdoomsday #dunesday #drdoom #movieposterart An alternative illustrated poster design featuring Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides in the foreground with Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom in the background with the type DUNESDAY in the style of the original Dune movie intertwined between the two figures. by @vectorvondoodle
