The Wrong Paris premiere in LA! Finally getting around to posting! 😝The amount of love and fun being had in that theater was unparalleled. Thank you @Netflix for throwing us a great party! Still on a high from that night and getting to celebrate the film with our incredible cast and crew 🙌🙌 You all rock! And getting to meet and chat with all our stellar editors, music team, and all post and pre production team members was such a highlight of the night! It truly takes a village and every single person put so much love and care into this movie and wowza it shows!! What a special night🤠😻❤️🙌🔥

Thank you @ubcp_actra for this nomination and to the entire cast and crew of Wrong Paris! I love and miss yall every day! And huge congrats to all the nominees! Eep!

Thank you @janeendamian, @therealmichaeldamian @candiceelzinga and @jonclayharris for making this film come to life and for giving me the opportunity to go buck wild on this film 😜 Damn we had FUN!

And thank you @spencer.alexander.teeter for rehearsing lines with me every night before shooting and helping me come up with a trillion adlibs for Heather (many of which made it into the movie!)🙏😆

This week’s post set adventure spots. 🫠🙏 I can’t believe we get to film minutes away from spots like these.

I was sitting on a rock looking out at the water, listening to the birds, and felt my worries slip away as peace and gratitude blossomed in their place. There’s something so special about sitting in nature. I was on the phone with my brother the other day, telling him about the light I saw as it played on the water and how at peace I felt watching the river flow under the light- and he said nature is special because it asks nothing of us. And I thought that was so well put. In our day, we are in places that ask so much of us and we ask so much of ourselves. Even our apartments quietly ask us to do the dishes or dust the surfaces. But nature doesn’t ask us to sweep its floor. It doesn’t ask us any hard questions. It invites us to sit back and enjoy its beauty. And thus it makes us grateful to have something so glorious to feel and look at. And so the positivity and gratitude thought cycle begins and grows.

I packed up my things to go about 5 times at each of these locations this week. And each time, I put my things down to stare and appreciate our beautiful world just a little longer.

I hope you have a great weekend and get to slow down and sit somewhere near water or trees this weekend. I hope the sun kisses your skin and you feel a warm hug from the wind and stay a little longer than you had planned to💛💛 by @vee.long

A few weekends ago, I had a long weekend coming up. I messaged my girlfriend Nattie on my lunch break on Thursday and asked “hey, can I be at your place in Hawaii this time tomorrow? is that crazy??” And the next thing I knew we were giggling and dancing together in the car from the airport to her house. Life is wild 🙏 Hawaii is such a special place. As soon as you step foot on the island, it feels like a celebration of life everywhere! Something about the soft warm air, the birds chirping in the morning, the way strangers will greet you with the biggest smiles and give you a long soulful hug. I love that if you see your friend going the other direction on the highway, it’s ok to slow down, roll down your windows, hold up traffic a little and make spontaneous plans for what beach you’re going to hit next together. And no one honks! They get it, they would do the same! Little things like that. It’s a very generous and peace filled culture. Anyway, if you’re reading this, this is your sign to do something spontaneous, call up a friend and get the plans out of the chat! Life is short!
More mango sticky rice, more spontaneous trips, more dancing, more outdoor showering. LOL also, hot take- the clurb is highly underrated. More clurb nights hahaha 😝😜 by @vee.long

Muchísimas gracias a @telemundo por la entrevista! Es un honor muy grande para mí. Un sueño la verdad a poder hablar de mi camino, sueños, y mi mamá en su programa.🙏 Y gracias a Mario por su hospitalidad y buen humor y también por enseñarme una nueva palabra! Ya se que es un reto jajaja 😂🙏

I used to watch Telemundo with my mom and cousins in Houston and Mexico when I was a kid so this was a big honor to be on the program for a brief moment. I was a little nervous for this one and was outside pacing in the parking lot practicing the pronunciation for “detective” in Spanish LOL 😆 but Mario the host was super patient and good humored and immediately put me at ease.
