Perhaps it's this view that keeps people coming back for more! This week, an 80% return guest rate!! Thanks to our loyal guests and friends 💥

By the way, almost everyone else is here based on a word of mouth referral. Thank you! We are pretty blessed to make such good friends with our guests! by @veebarguestranch

In a drought, rain always sounds so nice! The horses didn't really seem to mind the rain, and it was so nice to wet the dust. @VeeBarGuestRanch by @veebarguestranch

WARNING: FUNNY CONTENT 🤣
Today's goat tying lesson:

Step 1: Catch the goat. ✅

Step 2: Tie the goat. ❌

Step 3: Accidentally become the one tied up. 🤦‍♀️😂

The goat was clearly operating on a different game plan today. Thankfully, everyone was laughing (especially the goat).

Guests visiting @VeeBarGuestRanch this summer will be able to watch a sheep dog demonstration, which is scheduled weekly. Mr. Pickel brings his Border Collie dogs and sheep and does a demonstration showing the talents of his dogs and how he trains them to be useful working dogs. Dogs that he owns find a permanent home with him, and even though he used to compete in sheep dog trials and judge them, he is enjoying retirement now. See you at the demo!

Moving cattle--a main attraction at the Vee Bar! This is an activity that anyone on horseback can participate in. We gather a herd of cattle in one pasture and move them to another pasture. There is a job for everyone!

Where can you build a snowman in May (and June), you ask? The Snowy Range Mountains, of course! by @veebarguestranch

Ok, Mother Nature. I think you have your months mixed up. This is May (you know, spring flowers). Thanks for the moisture, though!

We have about 18 inches, and it's still falling!

You may have noticed that I posted yesterday: our season began yesterday. So if you are wondering about our guests, everyone is doing well and taking it all in stride. The CA people who never see snow are getting an immersion! by @veebarguestranch
