It’s a crucial time to actually give a shit. The cost is too high not to. The powers that be are counting on you being tired or believing that you can’t make a difference. Give, volunteer, advocate, stay informed, VOTE, protest, donate, organize, grow, build! You can do plenty with what you already have! by @veeejzilla

Shoutout to @onelaclean for organizing and constantly activating to serve the community in LA. Last Sunday he called on volunteers to feed hot meals to our neighbors in MacArthur Park. The goal was to serve 60 people but we honestly might have served way more. If we had food, they weren’t turned away.

Being someone who lives so close to the park, it wasn’t hard to say Yes to giving a few hours from my Sunday to help out. I put together care bags of supplies and designed informational sheets to resources in the area. Just doing what I can with what I have and what I can offer like everybody else who volunteered! I encourage you to do the same!

Will we see you at the next @onelaclean community feeding? taken in Los Angeles, California by @veeejzilla

First and foremost, ABOLISH ICE. Second, look out for yourself, neighbors, and your community. We all we got! Please keep up to date on the news and stay informed on your rights. These days, things change and happen often. As of September, this is what’s suggested on ACLU’s website if ICE arrives at your home. by @veeejzilla

We’re back with our Neighborhood Garage Sale with @openmarket.la in collaboration with @lavender.xyz on Sunday 10/25. Community members will be doing some Fall cleaning for a good cause, pledging 10% of sales towards @eayikes, who feed the unhoused and run youth and community engagement programs in LA.

Our friends at @lavender.xyz will be handling the morning programming with Slow Motion. Starting at 9AM, join us for a 5K followed by a cool down stretch by @flowsandcreates. We’ll then pack hygiene kits for folks in our community struggling with mental health and substance use challenges with @samedifferenceco!

Ran it back with @noharmktla’s volunteer trash pick up in Ktown here in Los Angeles. The route was different but the mission was the same. We cleaned up the streets in one of the busiest intersections in this part of town. If you’re looking to make an impact in your community, it could be as simple as picking up the trash in your neighborhood. There’s likely a group organizing where you live! #volunteer #koreatown #losangeles taken in Koreatown, Los Angeles by @veeejzilla

Help keep your neighbors cool❄️ and hydrated💧 today (9/9). It’s gonna be over 100 degrees later in the day. Just imagine being outside all day. It probably won’t be the last, so be prepared! Just did a little loop around Koreatown this morning before getting my day started and gave away about 10+ frozen water bottles. Look out for one another. We all we got! #koreatown #losangeles taken in Koreatown, Los Angeles by @veeejzilla
