Everyday I’m at awe of how fulfilling my two years in the army has been - much more than I first imagined as a new moderately depressed recruit. Meeting people from everywhere who were brought together by NS and somehow still getting along thru our differences was amazing. Those outfields with back-to-back missions, jungle survival trainings, PTs, foreign military exercises, live ops, helis, merciless weather, curious animals, repeated live firings, playing with very expensive toys, being with admirable leaders, and those stupid fucking timings were all things I am glad to have embraced in their own ways. I’m grateful for all the people I met and enjoyed the company of in the pursuit of trying to make the most of NS, from BMT Mohawk, 3 Guards - Alpha, Platoon 3, HQ - and more. It’s been the biggest adventure. OWADIO
