I’ve been building this account for 6 years, sharing recipes and learning in public — but I’ve never properly introduced myself.
So. Hi. I’m Anna ⏾

I’m a vegan food creator, a nutrition student, a tantra yoga teacher, a cacao ceremony facilitator, a private chef for retreats and spiritual events, and the co-founder of @letawaken.
And inside of all this chaos of interests, the root remains to be only one: to come back to my body, to build and create consciously and to inspire other along the way. And tomorrow — something I’ve been building for months finally opens its doors.

✦ Roots & Flow — an 8-week group program for women ready to reconnect with their body, their cycle, and the earth. Through plant nourishment, cycle syncing, tantra philosophy, herbalism, and live cacao ceremony. Together.
Founding member price opens tomorrow for 1 week only.

If something in you has been saying I want to go deeper — this is it.
Stay tuned for tomorrow.

With love,

Today I’m launching ROOTS — my first ever 1:1 container. Nervous system regulation, cycle syncing, and embodiment, across eight weeks, just you and me🧚‍♀️🪞✨

There’s a version of me that wants to soften this post, add ten disclaimers, make it smaller than it is. I’m trying not to. I built this for the woman I was, and for whoever needed to hear the video above today. And from a place of vulnerability, of empathy and compassion, I open this space that I would have needed five years ago.

I hope this resonates. I hope some women can find home in their bodies through this work.

Three founding spots. Comment ROOTS if you want to know more.

With love,
Anna🦋 by @veg.corner

Your cycle hands you a different superpower every phase — and you’re probably not using any of them.

Luteal phase · days 17–28 · the Finisher

The Finisher, love — she turns up after ovulation, when progesterone rises, your focus narrows, and your patience for nonsense runs clean out.

What to eat: more, not less — your metabolism’s up. Complex carbs every meal (oats, sweet potato, squash, quinoa) for cravings and mood; magnesium (pumpkin seeds, greens, black beans, cacao) for cramps and sleep. Ease off salt, caffeine and alcohol the week before your period.

How your body wants you to move: strength early, then wind down — barre, Pilates, yoga, walking. Longer warm-ups, more rest, not a PR week; you fatigue faster now.

Your seeds for this phase: ground sesame + sunflower, a spoonful each daily.

Sweet recipe with them:
Blend a cup of soft dates with 2 tbsp tahini, 2 tbsp raw cacao and a pinch of salt, stir in 2 tbsp sunflower seeds, roll and chill 20 minutes. Steady sweetness, real magnesium, your seeds for this half — all in one bite.

That was the last one, love — the Seer, the Starter, the Magnet, the Finisher. Living like this, all four on purpose, is the whole of Roots & Flow. Comment CYCLE for the map and the recipe; 1:1 is open, link in bio 🌝

And if you want to feel it in your body, not just your feed: October 3rd, 12–2pm, I’m hosting Barre Blast + a talk on cyclical living with BarreFit. Spots are limited — sign up in the Barrefit app or DM me to get more information. by @veg.corner

Don’t miss these 3-4 days a month, your most magnetic and authentic self appears.
Ovulatory phase · days 12–16 of your cycle · the Magnet

You’re not the same woman all month — and you were never meant to be. Mid-cycle, estrogen and testosterone peak together: you’re quicker with words, warmer, better at reading a room. And it doesn’t last long.

What to eat: fibre up — aim for 30g+ a day from cruciferous veg (broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels), leafy greens, berries and chia; it helps your body clear the estrogen peak. Lots of raw colour and antioxidants. Bitter greens and beets to support your liver. Hydrate well: your temperature is about to rise.

How your body wants you to move: your peak-power week — heaviest lifts, sprints, hardest HIIT, group classes. But warm up thoroughly and keep your form honest: high estrogen loosens your ligaments and injury risk is highest now. No ego-lifting, no cold max efforts. Short and intense beats long and grinding.

Your seeds for this phase: these switch now — ground sesame + sunflower, one tablespoon of each daily, through to your next bleed.

Next episode: the luteal phase.

📆And mark your calendars because on Saturday October 3rd we will be hosting an event with @barrefit.bcn Barre Blast & Talk about Cyclical Living🧚‍♀️🌞 by @veg.corner

Why it’s more than a pretty pink drink💅🏼
It’s high in vitamin C and iron — genuinely useful around your period, when iron dips.
It’s a liver-loving herb, and your liver is what clears out extra estrogen. so it’s quietly doing cycle-support work.
A lot of women notice it eases bloating and cramping in the days leading up to their period.
And it’s cooling, a little sour, a little floral — the kind of drink that makes you actually slow down and taste something.

Hibiscus lemonade
Makes about 1 liter:
2 tbsp dried hibiscus (or 3-4 hibiscus tea bags)
3 cups hot water
1 lemon whole or 2 lemons juiced
a small handful of fresh mint leaves
2-3 tbsp agave, to taste
ice
Steep the hibiscus in the hot water for 5-10 minutes, then strain out the petals. Let it cool. Stir in the lemon juice and agave while it’s still warm so the agave dissolves properly. Bruise the mint leaves lightly with your hands to release the oils, drop them in, and refrigerate until cold. Serve over ice.

Your cycle hands you a different superpower every phase — and you’re probably not using any of them.

Follicular phase · days 6–11 of your cycle · the Starter

You’re not the same woman all month — and you were never meant to be. Right after your bleed, estrogen climbs and your brain gets good at beginnings: you see options, connect ideas, and you’re willing to be a beginner.

🍎What to eat: lighter and fresher — big salads, sprouts, crudités; raw sits well now. Fermented foods (sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir, miso) to help your gut process the rising estrogen. Lean plant protein for building — tempeh, edamame, lentils. A slightly lower appetite is normal; don’t force big meals.
🏄🏽‍♀️How your body wants you to move: this is the week to build — energy, strength and recovery are all high. Add load, progress your lifts, start a new training block. Good time to learn a skill or try a hard class; coordination is sharp. Cardio: build volume, tempo work, dance, HIIT.
✨Your seeds for this phase: ground flax + pumpkin, one tablespoon of each daily (still the first-half pair).

Comment CYCLE and I will send you a one page map with all four phases and its superpowers.

9/9 sweeps out what the last cycle left behind — so you can actually see what’s on the other side.

Not a manifestation thing. A “what am I still dragging around” thing.

Swipe for the questions I asked myself this morning, plus the one ritual that actually matters today 🌀

Two nights from now the moon goes new in Virgo — routine, not grand gestures. That’s when the reset actually lands. by @veg.corner

We’re hosting a Chinese medicine dinner on September 16th 🥢

Autumn is lung season in Traditional Chinese Medicine — the season of breath, and of letting go. Chris, a TCM practitioner, opens the evening with a plain, unmysterious talk on what that actually means for your body right now. Then I lead a nervous system practice before a single dish arrives — you can’t receive a meal, or a season, on a body that’s still bracing. From there, a short practice before each of the four courses too. The food is part of it. It’s not the whole point.

The menu:
— Silken tofu, ginger-scallion oil, black vinegar
— Braised cauliflower, lotus root, five-spice tofu
— Mushroom and rice noodle soup
— Steamed pear, goji berries, osmanthus
— Tea throughout, poured properly at the close

That first dish is the one in the video. Silken tofu, sliced thick and served cold — no cooking, no reheating, just built right before it hits the table. Ginger and scallion, minced fine, hit with oil heated until it shimmers, poured straight over so it sizzles and blooms right there in the bowl. Black vinegar, a little soy, a touch of sugar, whisked into a dressing that goes around the tofu, not over it. It’s cold and clean on purpose — the first bite of a dinner about slowing down needs to ask you to slow down too.

Fifteen seats. €49.
Wednesday, Sept 16th from 7pm to 9:30pm
At @bohl.co

This isn’t a talk with a meal attached, or a dinner with a wellness theme stapled on. The medicine, the practice, and the food are one thing here.

A reminder for your nervous system: not everything is urgent. 🫶

You don’t have to reply immediately.
You don’t have to fix everything today.
You don’t have to turn every thought into an action.

Your cycle hands you a different superpower every phase — and you’re probably not using any of them🌝

I am collaborating with @barrefit.bcn to give you a deep understanding of your cycle. Starting with this series and ending with an event on October 3rd: Barre & Talk about your cycle and how to take advantage of each one of the 4 superpowers🦋

🩸Menstrual phase · days 1–5 of your cycle · the Seer

You’re not the same woman all month — and you were never meant to be. The power of your bleed is clarity: you see what isn’t working, and your intuition turns up loud.

🥬 What to eat: warm and cooked over raw and cold — soups, stews, stewed fruit. Pair plant iron (lentils, tofu, pumpkin seeds, spinach) with vitamin C (citrus, peppers) in the same meal, and keep coffee an hour away so it absorbs. Magnesium — 70% dark chocolate, pumpkin seeds — for cramps. Ginger or turmeric tea for inflammation. Don’t skip meals.

🧘🏽‍♀️ How your body wants you to move: days 1–2, rest or just walk. Days 3–5, gentle only — easy Pilates, restorative yoga, mobility, slow flow. No HIIT, no heavy lifting, no long runs. Legs up the wall and gentle twists for cramps.

✨Your seeds for this phase: ground flax + pumpkin, one tablespoon of each daily.

Next episode: the follicular phase.
