So proud of this little girl for sticking to her guns at 4 years old and choosing to go vegetarian, and then I’m proud of going vegan at 19 years old 🌱

I originally went vegetarian at 4 years old as I loved all animals (especially my cat, Simba) and didn’t want to eat them. I’m glad my parents were supportive of this choice and provided me with vegetarian food all through my childhood @b2.schneider @petercarey816

Then when I went to university several of my friends were vegan and helped me understand that my beliefs were in line with veganism 🌱 @samantha__robertson

I went to @mister_nice_guys_bakeshop with @eleanor.lipp and had some amazing food! It was a bit of a trek from my side of town but the drive was well worth it.

We had the:
-chicken schnitzel sub
-meatball sub
-tough cookies cupcake
-chocolate babka

The food here is always amazing👌🏼 I’ll be back 💚

@reveriecafemelb is a hidden gem, a piece of France in Melbourne 💕 @b2.schneider and I had a mother-daughter high tea at this French patisserie and it was incredible! The food and the hospitality from @pierrickboyer and his wife were beautiful.

For savoury we had the:
-Mushroom sandwich with romesco
-Truffle arancini with shashuka sauce
-Avo tartless
-Coconut mousse layered with jam

For sweet we had the:
-Dark Orange
-Coconut Bounty
-Strawberry Lemon and Coconut Tart
-Biscoff Dark Chocolate Tart with Caramelised Banana

I also had a delicious oat cappuccino and they use real chocolate on top, yum! We asked for everything to be made vegan 🌱

I cannot wait to come back for high tea for Mothers’ Day, my birthday, or a work function! Also I can’t wait to go for coffee and cake here with my close vegan friends. I feel like every vegan in Melbourne needs to try this.

@samantha__robertson and I went to her favourite local acai store @green.cup and it has such a clean, fun vibe with so many healthy and delicious vegan options 💕

We had the:
-Peanut Butter Deluxe smooothie
-Go-to Bowl
-Pesto, spinach, avo toastie
-Protein iced latte
*we asked for everything to be vegan ✌️

The peanut butter smoothie is Sam’s fav! The acai was amazing, it’s so clear why @green.cup is renowned for acai, it was everything you could want in an acai bowl.

-Satay skewers
-Honey chicken with cashew nuts
-Braised tofu with minced pork and preserved olive greens
-Stir-fried Chinese broccoli with vegan oyster sauce
-Braised Assorted Seafood Claypot
-Rice
-Roti

Had the BEST unboxing from @veganchocolateco ! OMG, wow! My life has been changed. These handmade chocolates from Sydney were absolutely insane, and the best thing is… they’re opening a store in Port Melbourne soon 🍫

Had the best time at @naturecafebar with my vegan friend @georgia_llouise ✌️

We had the:
-Get Shnitty Sanga
-Nature’s Winter salad
-iced oat mocha
-Green Nectar smoothie
-Lemon Coconut Slice
-Mars Bar Slice
*we asked for everything to be vegan 🌱

The Get Shnitty Sanger was insane!! A must try 👌🏼 The sweet treats were amazing and I enjoyed them on the way home with my brother’s partner @eleashasaul who is GF. They have so many GF treats!

Had a cute little date with my mum @b2.schneider near my work at @maemalverneast 💕 Mae is my go-to cafe near work as they have vegan cappuccinos which I love ☕️ I haven’t tried their food recently as I always bring my lunch to work. I love the vibe at Mae and the food was delicious.

We had the:
-Brassica bowl
-Panzanella: heirloom medley tomatoes, peach & basil beetroot on focaccia with aged balsamic
-English breakfast tea with soy milk
-Oat decaf cappuccino
*we asked for everything to be made vegan 🌱

The food was super fresh and yum and it was such a treat to get a teaser of the Panzanella from their new menu!

@b2.schneider and I had the most incredible taste test from @chayplantbasedcakes ! @chayplantbasedcakes is 100% plant based and this is from their catering menu.

In picture 1 we had the:
-Cookies and cream
-Almond, raspberry lemon cake
-Coconut, lime, pineapple cake
-Orange earl grey cake
-Orange flourless cake
-Red velvet & lemon cupcake
-Vanilla, Biscoff cupcake
-Vanilla, strawberry cupcake

In picture 2 we had the:
-Tiramisu
-Chocolate hazelnut cake
-Chocolate passionfruit caramel cake
-Red velvet, lemon, vanilla cake
-Raspberry pistachio cake

This was the best treat! I actually ate cake for dinner coz I was worried if I ate a savoury dinner before that I wouldn’t be able to try it all 🙈 Loved it!

Had the best delivery of pastries from @abakeralex ! @r_ron_man and I loved these pastries, and it’s supporting a vegan small business 🌱

Sadly, our order waiting outside was opened by a very hungry crow, who ate a few of the most delicious pastries! 🐦‍⬛ Can’t wait to try those another time 💕

@ishitam and I went to the super popular @mrballersubs for lunch! There was a line out the door and they have delicious vegan food!

We had the:
-Plant Based Paulie
-Exotic Mushroom Melt
-Fries
*we asked for everything to be made vegan 🌱

The food was rich and absolutely incredible! I am still thinking about the meat balls in the Plant Based Paulie.
