NCAAU was up bright and early for our first event of the day: A vegan breakfast bagel giveaway in Durham's Central Park ☀️ In just over an hour, we gave out 170 samples, leaflet included with each of them 🥯
Thank you to @isaacs_bagels for once again preparing food for our event, and an even bigger thank you to @farmusa for supplying us with leaflets and covering the cost of the food. We couldn't pull off these events without your support!

Saturday morning outreach in Durham Central Park 💚 Advocates organized a @farmusa Got Mom? table with dairy-free samples followed by a @activism.wtf 3-minute video challenge.
It was an energizing start to the day. Activists gave out 130 samples of @isaacs_bagels vegan cream cheese. Another activist gave out 80 leaflets about the Farm Bill and dangerous Save Our Bacon Act and asked passersby to call their senators.
Our next Got Mom? outreach event is Friday, June 19th, 6-8pm at the bull statue in downtown Durham. Drop by to try a dairy-free sample or join in on the advocacy yourself! taken in Durham Central Park by @veganeconow

Photos from this weekend's two "Got Mom?" outreach events in collaboration with @farmusa in Durham and Chapel Hill 🐮🩷 Advocates gave out hundreds of samples of vegan ice cream, cheese and crackers, and milk and cookies along with pamphlets on the cruelty inherently baked into the dairy industry.
On Mother's Day, we think of the hundreds of millions of cows around the world exploited for their milk; Each and every one of them is a mother separated from her baby 💔

Goodest Fur babies we met today at @independentanimalrescue’s Fast and Furriest’s 5K/1K run. We learned that these fur babies are available for adoption—would be nice to learn they found their furever homes— please adopt ❤️ by @veganeconow
