She should’ve been celebrating her birthday today 💔 #BlackLivesMatter - WE NEED TO KEEP OUR FOOT ON THE GAS AND PRESSURE ON THE SYSTEM!!!! DON’T LET UP NOW. USE YOUR PLATFORMS AND YOUR VOICE!!! #Repost @colorofchange

#SayHerName: Breonna Taylor should be turning 27 today. She was an essential worker, an EMT who protected all of us, but wasn't treated like she was essential by police, who broke into HER home (they had the wrong house), and riddled her with bullets. We can’t talk about police brutality without talking about the countless Black women who are targeted, killed and often forgotten. The FBI has announced an investigation into her murder, but Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer still hasn't fired the officers that were involved.
Honor Bre’s birthday and demand justice for her and her family. Text ENOUGH to 55156 by @veganfatkid

Yes it’s Monday and yes we are still talking about this #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd #BlackLivesMatter 🖤 I don’t got good words like other accounts and don’t have a “hot take” but if we’re waiting for things to calm down and get back to “business as usual” then we need to own the fact that we are the problem. We allowed this to happen. AND YES WHITE PEOPLE I AM TALKING TO US. Hopefully my account can penetrate into white communities that feel that the problem is happening “over there” and that it’s just something u see on TV. It ain’t.
If you have a hard time talking about the black experience then don’t, it’s not urs to speak on, but u can speak all day long about ur white privilege, I’m sure we must be experts at that by now. So use ur resources, hit up that politician u know, that banker, that racist uncle that cracks jokes and see what kind of influence u have to effect lasting change in ur community 👍🏻#DontPutUrHeadInTheSand #YesThisIsOurProblemToFix #DoYouEvenBenefitFromBusinessAsUsual *please feel free to hit me up, correct me and say ur piece but also feel free to fuck off with that alllivesmatter, Soros, conspiracy theory shit, we’re trying to change the world over here,
cheers.
**oh and I’m not pro-looting but if the very system that ur protesting is providing the guidelines in which to do it then that is troubling to me...kinda like McDonalds hosting fat camp. 🤔 Just a thought.
***oh one more thought: I don’t mean to be critical of anyone posting pastel drawings, and slogans or pics of themselves as a sign of solidarity but feel free to post an actual picture of an actual black person on ur wall, u know, the people we are actually protesting with. Don’t worry it won’t ruin ur “aesthetic” either. (And who knows, maybe a month from now when someone scrolls through ur feed ur #BLM post won’t just blend in). SOUND UP! Exactly what we need to end this week! A man sitting alone on a park bench started singing #BonJovi’s “Living on a Prayer.” And by the end, the entire park joined in to sing along! I mean... chills! 👏🏽🙏🏽. #FridayFeeling #LivingOnAPrayer .
