sydney cake tour she said!

the other day I decided to take my cakes on a tour around sydney’s most iconic locations. some of you may think I have too much time on my hands but that definitely wasn’t the case. i decorated these in the midst of one of my busiest weeks and had to get it done with limited time on my hands. when I have an idea in my head i need to make it happen otherwise I drive myself crazy thinking about it every waking moment. i leave to Europe in 2 weeks for a month and while my weeks are back to back until I go this was the day to do it. it didn’t end up being as calm as it looks. the temperate was very warm, buttercream was melting, my hands and clothes covered in sugar & dragging 4 cakes around the city with lots of questionable stares and strangers asking what the occasion was. my response being… “no occasion, just because”. despite the craziness it didn’t turn out too bad. not perfect, not terrible. hopefully next time I do something as adventurous as this it will end up being more pleasurable. all in all, i learnt a lot and loved seeing the reactions from people on the street over my chaotic cakes. taken in Sydney, Australia by @vegemammma
