This game used to be my safe place.A place where I could let myself become attached to the characters, trust the story, and believe that the world the developers were building had meaning.But the decision to completely erase Valko changed that for me.He wasn’t just another unreleased character. He was a character people had already fallen in love with. You introduced him, developed him, gave us reasons to care and then chose to discard him as if none of that mattered.What hurts me the most isn’t simply losing Valko.It’s what this decision says about the future of the game.If a studio can so easily abandon one of its own creations after asking players to become emotionally invested, then how am I supposed to trust anything that comes next? How can I feel safe growing attached to future characters or storylines when they, too, could simply disappear?For me, this wasn’t just a change in development plans. It broke the trust I had in the people creating this world.A game can survive difficult decisions. Trust doesn’t always survive losing the confidence of the people who loved it.This is the beginning of the end for me.You were my safe place.Not anymore.#bringvalkoback #valko #lads by @veiltale
