Consciousness Transfer Trial of subject VEK. Neural imaging utilized advanced MRI and nanoscale electrode arrays to map neuron structures and synaptic connections, creating a detailed model of Subject VEK’s brain. Approximately 10 minutes into the transfer, signs of cognitive desynchronization appeared. Subject VEK’s heart rate and respiratory functions ceased approximately 18 minutes into the trial. Medical intervention attempts were unsuccessful, and the subject was pronounced dead on-site.
The digital emulation, which briefly persisted postmortem, displayed melodic-like responses before crashing, resulting in this being the only digital record found of the trial.

Exulansis
n. the tendency to give up trying to talk about an experience because people are unable to relate to it—whether through envy or pity or simple foreignness—which allows it to drift away from the rest of your life story, until the memory itself feels out of place, almost mythical, wandering restlessly in the fog, no longer even looking for a place to land. taken in Exulansis by @vektorcrush
