It’s been one year without you, Max. 🐾🤍

13 August… a day I wish I could erase from my memory.

I still remember the last time I saw you.
You were so weak, yet you still tried to get up when you saw me.
I never knew that would be the last time I would see my boy.

I would give anything to go back to that moment,
to hold you a little longer,
to tell you how much I loved you,
and to have just one more day with you.

You weren’t just my dog.
You were my family.
You were a part of my life that I can never replace.

A whole year has passed,
but some days it still feels like it happened yesterday.

I miss you, Max.
I hope wherever you are, you’re happy and running free. 🐾🤍

13 August — the day I lost you,
but never the day I stopped loving you.
