I’m not much of a live performer but here is a new song called Turning Blue. Can’t wait to start tracking it and add instrumentation. 🎺 🎹🎻

I wrote this song back in 2017, recorded it in 2020, and just recently finished it up with the help of some amazing people around the globe. Many of them, including myself, probably thought we’d never finish. I would have never dreamed that I’d have the opportunity to work with this level of talent. A huge “Thank you!” to each and every one of the following individuals: @cee_taylor @kylejeffreycrane Roberto Soave @melodywhore @misuki015

Just a fragment of an idea.

You, you’re lost in yourself
In spite of yourself
There’s nothing left

You, you’re locked in yourself
In spite of yourself
There’s nothing left

“I Know” by Fiona Apple is such a hauntingly beautiful song.

Turin Brakes – Rain City

I was already a long-time fan when this song came out. Their first album, The Optimist is incredible. Years later, this song appeared on The OC, and reminded me why I was originally drawn to them.

A Day in the Life by The Beatles is still such an apt reflection of the desensitized world we live in. People staring for the entertainment of spectacle. Tragedy turned into a commodity, contrasted by the mundane, and in turn, becoming mundane itself. To the point that our reactions have become polar opposite of what they should be. Empaths have become a dying breed.

Teardrop by Massive Attack and Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins is one of my favorite songs. The looping melody is difficult on guitar, especially when singing. 😅

This song came across my feed recently. I remember when it first came out. It stood out from everything else at the time. The lyrics are timeless and even more applicable today. taken in Canyon Lake, Texas by @velocityoftears
