🎅 Put on my old Santa Claus costume just 4fun as I went on a ride around town not thinking much about it and unintentionally made hundreds of people's day. From kids to adults even, tons of people were smiling ear to ear and waving almost in disbelief. Santa left his reindeer sled at the North Pole and got instead a big classic cruiser motorcycle? 😆 Quite a sight to see if I think about. Suddenly stressed people stuck in traffic were more relaxed, and the vibe of the day went positive as it should.
Kids swarmed me when I stopped in parking lots asking if Santa comes to their house bringing gifts this night. A magical experience I honestly never expected.

This gave me a great idea. Next year if all goes well I will get a proper Santa costume with a realistic quality beard and buy alot of small toys to carry around in a bag so I can give them to random kids around town. Maybe I'll even manage to teap up with some charity organisations to surprise people in need who never expect Santa to pull up to their houses especially on a motorcycle. 😊 I will call this #motomosh

Straight up Doom / Stoner Metal album cover material

I love these candid photos that despite being accidental and blurry turn out absolutely Epic!

It's now been a while since I have this bike. My cruiser riding friends were right, a bike over 1000cc was a perfect starter bike for me. 😁

Started ~1.5 years ago on this 1500cc Suzuki Boulevard that has "just" 70 hp but produces about 81 lb-ft or 110 nm of torque. I was absolutely terrified of it and still treat it with the utmost respect. I was never a fan of high speed and what I care about in a bike is aesthetic, comfort, reliability, and sound.

I'm not trying to hit MACH2 on 2 wheels. Enjoying the trip and just vibing on a comfortable mini leather sofa on wheels is where it's at for me.

Never wanted to go over the speed limit and I still rarely do it by much. A little bird however, told me that this thing weighing ~370kg plus some 30 kg of baggage, my 100kg fatass and a goth girl of some 55 kg reaches over 170km/h. I told that little bird I wouldn't want to push it more. 😅 Imagine ~555 kg moving at that speed on 2 wheels!

Anyway, the Best cruising on a motorcycle is between 100-150 km/h and everyone who says otherwise is full of it.

P.S. These photos are ALL taken on Very short rides INSIDE my small city where I'm riding slow and have pretty low chances of a serious accident.

Outside I'm always wearing my big helmet, CE protection jacket, knee pads, motorcycle riding boots and so on. I advise everyone to always ride as protected as possible, with a bare minimum of helmet, gloves, long pants, and knee pads!

I can't prove this, but if my motorcycle could also sing human music, from the depths of it's v-twin soul it would 100% be Stoner & Doom Metal with a touch of Sludge.

A massive thank you to the friends who supported me in this journey of restoring it to it's original beauty and performance. Some of you know when I got this bike it was not in extraordinary shape, but with love, care and passion, almost everything can heal.

𝑹𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝑰/𝑰𝑰𝑰

When you walk in some Transylvanian villages in the night between the years this is something you might see. What is this? They are called CIUFI where I grew up.

It's a very old pre-christian tradition, likely many thousands of years old. In my grandparents village where I grew up, on this night that separates the old and the new, people, usually young men, put on frightening often self made costumes made of fur, wool, hemp, feathers, and other usually local found materials, and start walking through the village, going from house to house, usually visiting friends and family.

The tradition says the costumed guests cannot make a single sound, as the host must try and guess their identity. To make this easier, the host can ask them to walk around or do certain non verbal gestures. The host may also ask questions that can only be answered with a head nod by the guest. During all this time, food and beverage is offered as a sign of the world famous Romanian hospitality, and as a trick to make them remove their masks.

After the identity is guessed, the mask is removed and people laugh and have a good time. The purpose of this tradition and the frightening costumes is to scare off the evil spirits that might have resided in the household during the passing year. It is a ancient rite of spiritual cleansing, beating fire with fire.

During this night, the ciufi often wear a shepherd style wooden stick that can be beautifully adorned with intricate engravings. This sers both as a symbol of craftsmanship and wealth, whilst at the same time being a useful defensive tool again other ciufi that might get feisty after a few shots of our local beverages.

I hope to see this type of tradition make a comeback in the following years. Variations of it are found all around Europe, and the younger generation benefits immensely from being well rooted in our tradition and native culture.

Yet The Medieval Festival of Suceava was an absolutely splendid vibe. Where else would you casually carry your sword to the table you eat on, and crack open lobster claws with the pommel of a knife without people batting an eye? Even met a hedgehog that was about to slime-a-slime. 🏰

The second post of Suceava Medieval festival starts with much appreciation for my custom federschwert made by the talented guys at @regenyeiarmory

These guys went all out to make everything about it custom sized, shaped, and double sided engraved with spectacular precision. As you can see, even the ottoman turks appreciate the craftsmanship. 😆

Then we went to explore the inside of the castle, the dungeons, church, throne room, weapons room, treasury and so on. I "tried" to grab a treasure chest to pay for my sword but unfortunately it seems like I'll still have to empty my coin purse after all.
(I will never financially recover from this)

Ending the post with whipcracking. Did you know the cracking sound is the top of the whip going supersonic? Just like the fighter jets making the sonic boom over the skies. At that speed, the tip of the whip becomes something like an airblade. I didn't try to slice apples with it yet, but the cracking sounds is awesome. 😆

Medieval Festival of Suceava - 2025

Gathering hundreds of reenactors from many different countries every year, taking place in the historical fortress of Suceava where the famous Stephan The Great ruled, this event is something one shouldn't miss given the opportunity. It's one of the oldest and biggest medieval festivals in Romania and it's always a pleasure for me to walk between the centuries old stone walls, stepping back in time for a few days.

Jokes aside, if you zoom in on the first image, you will see the flames making a pattern resembling an angry witch-demon looking spirit. 👹 And in the second one you can see what looks like what remains of a skull. ☠

These images, like most that I ever posted, are not manipulated at all besides Very minor adjustments on Saturation, Shadows, Highlights and Brightness. 📷

The phenomenon of seeing faces in fire is called called pareidolia and it's an evolutionary trait where the brain instinctively perceives familiar patterns, like faces, in random forms like fire, clouds or nature's foliage. Pattern recognition once helped humans quickly detect faces and potential threats. 🗡

A final important note ❗

Samhain and Halloween aren't satanic! They're rooted in ancient Celtic harvest festivals, particularly Samhain, marking the end of harvest and the start of winter.

🕯Samhain is Not about invoking dark forces. It's about honoring ancestors, remembering friends, kin, parents, grandparents and other long passed forebears who's lives made a positive impact in the world and their tribe or family.

🎃 Halloween later evolved as a mix of Samhain and Christian traditions, like All Hallows' Eve, to remember the dead, often saints—without Any connection to Satanic practices.

Deschidere oficială sezon moto 2024.

Am visat de mic să fiu motociclist, însă pe atunci nu mi-am imaginat că o să şi ajung să-mi împlinesc visul. Vedeam foarte rar prin oraş motoare, de asta aveam impresia că sunt ceva foarte inaccesibil, un moft şi un lux absolut pe care foarte puțini şi-l permit.
După ani de muncă, visul meu a devenit realitate.

Motocicletele pe stilul classic cruiser mi-au uns sufletul, mi-au gâdilat urechea şi mi-au mângăiat retina de când le-am văzut pentru prima oară în filmele de acțiune Americane, cum a fost Terminator, cu Arnold Schwarzenegger. Au o estetică specifică impecabilă, o prestanță şi o prezență în trafic absolut inegalabilă. Pe lângă astea, confortul oferit de aceste fotolii pe roţi cimentează alegerea pentru mine.

Am început cu un motor mare, am un Suzuki Boulevard C90 de 1500cc. Are 2550cm şi 350 de kg, e o adevărată locomotivă pe roți. A fost o provocare maximă la început, dar după timp şi răbdare, am început să o cunosc şi să o stăpânesc. Acum, după ce m-am obişnuit cu ea şi am mai stat şi pe alte motoare cruiser mai mici, de 536-650-1100cc am înțeles de ce mi-au recomandat toți prietenii şi cunoscuții care au cruiser/chopper să-mi iau aşa ditamai dihania. La 1.90m şi 105 kg ale mele, încap foarte bine pe ea, are o forță şi accelerație foarte bună pentru nevoile mele. Pleacă de pe loc rapid în intersecții şi nu mă chinui să depăşesc nici o maşină.

Dacă vreți să deveniți motociclişti, aia să şi faceți! Avem până la proba contrarie doar o viață pe acest pământ şi ar trebui să o trăim astfel încât să avem o satisfacție cât mai deplină în ceea ce ține de ce ne dorim, cum trăim şi cine suntem. Motociclismul este un hobby periculos, însă fiind precaut, atent în jurul tău şi cumpătat cu viteza, scazi drastic şansele unor evenimente neplăcute.

În final vreau să vă mulțumesc tuturor pentru minutele acordate citirii acestor cuvinte! În ziua de azi, a reel-urilor şi tik-tok-urilor de câteva secunde e din păcate tot mai greu să ne concentrăm şi să citim câteva minute.

Asfalt uscat şi atenție în trafic!

七なな海み建けん人コスプレ

Nanami Kento Cosplay

I saw a video of Nanami on Facebook as he was beating tf out of some guy (Haruta), and, after years of ignoring Jujutsu Kaisen, I knew I have to watch it now.

To my surprise it wasn't anywhere nearly as bad as I expected a Newschool anime to be. I'm a big fan of the classics, mostly pre 2000s anime such as Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D, Trigun, Cowboy bebop, Blue Gender, Yu Yu Hakusho, Berserk, Inuyasha, Princess Mononoke, Yu-Gi-Oh, Slayers, and so on.

Amongst the newest anime I really liked to this point are the masterpiece Ergo Proxy, Samurai Champloo, Naruto, and now Jujutsu Kaisen.

Nanami's cool-headed temperament, exuding an aura of professionalism and authority, makes him very charismatic, despite his cold stoicism that emits an aura of unwavering resolve and quiet intensity. He's blunt and straight to the point in most conversations and doesn't care for impractical optimism.

Additionally, Nanami is avid and quick to express his irritation, either on his face or verbally with his words. Nanami is often very impatient. Beneath his tough exterior, Nanami is actually quite sociable and doesn't mind intelligent conversations.

For those who have met me in real life, it's like a textbook description of me. I'll probably have to sue these guys for not paying me the copyrights the owe.
