POSTS STORIES REELS

It is with a shattered heart that we announce the passing of Margaret Rivera, who left this world at just 41 years old.

She was generous, joyful, and effortlessly herself. She loved everyone exactly as they were and was an Ironman to us all: capable, present, and unconditionally devoted. Everything good you can imagine in a person, she embodied. We are devastated beyond words, and the world is not as bright without her in it.

Information about services will post shared below. by @venadosrunning

If you’re new here, welcome to Venados Running Club 🦌

We’ve been running the streets of Pilsen (and neighboring southwest side communities) since 1981, kept alive by generations of runners who continue to show up for the miles

We meet every Wednesday out of @monochromebrew in Pilsen at 7 PM, a brewery that is family owned by our very own @robopilsen who’s dad was one of the original Venados.

Who can join? All are welcome to join & share in community miles.

When joining us, always be respectful to our fellow runners and neighbors. Treat each other like family.

What do we run? 3 or 5 miles every Wednesday, all year long. AT 7 PM

Any other runs or events? You can always count on us to show up every Wednesday, & we’ll occasionally host weekend long runs & cheer zones at races

Come by & meet our co-captain @therubynegrete @lucynegrete & co-leads @robopilsen @runmargaretrun

You can also check out our kids club @venadosyouthacademy
