Nice walk down the beach at Littlestone on Sunday, to see the plaque on the wall of Grand Flats, that used to be the Grand Hotel. Where Jimmy Hendrix played.

Where my grandad met my granny, he was a fisherman she was a chambermaid.

Then my mum worked there as a chambermaid when L Roy tours were doing trips to France in Silver City Airlines at Lydd Airport and she used to drink in the bar.

There were coach loads and the drivers used to sleep on the top floor where all the pigeons were and the guests slept on the decent floors below.

Put my plaque on my mum's bench today. Thank you to Darren at Classic Trophies in New Romney for doing the plaque it is brilliantly engraved, loving the roses as well.
The flowers are doing well and mum's sunflowers this year are starting to come out.

Had a nice walk around Bexhill on Sunday and lovely coffee at the De La Warr Pavilion. Great views across the sea. Haven't been in there since I went with the Power Station to a Pantomime, when I was at school. by @venetiacattroll
