Flavour, quality and seasonality were the backbone of the TRANSITION retreat kitchen, a vision we share with @natoora . From perfumed Bergamot, velvety Bourjasotte Figs, rich Sicilian Mangoes and zesty Verdello Lemons to earthy Cavolo Nero, candy-like Muscat Grapes and the famous Delica Pumpkin - @natoora produce formed the colourful & flavourful canvas for @venn.dining to paint. Extending from the kitchen to the house, guests of the retreat were gifted with a @natoora Miyagawa satsumas: a symbol of good fortune for the new season ahead. Some of the dishes created with @natoora produce included: • Shaved Fennel, Apple & Dill Salad • Verdello Lemon, Bourjasotte Figs & Thyme Polenta Cake • Cavolo Nero pesto • Roasted Delica Pumpkin with Agrodolce & Basil • Baked Rainbow Beets with Whipped Tofu & Salsa Verde • Rainbow Carrot Salad with Turmeric and Miyagawa Satsuma dressing • Poached Williams Pears in Thyme, Bergamot & Ginger by @venn.dining
Four days in the mountains of Mallorca, centred around nourishment in all its forms. Together we will move, meditate, discover plant-based nutrition & Ayurvedic wisdom. We will visit farmer’s markets and cook with the seasonal local produce. We will journal, swim, eat and make space to slow down and reconnect. A chance to explore how we nourish ourselves, through: food, nature, movement, connection, intuition and joy. 5–8 November Mallorca See you there, Love, Phoebe + Lena xoxo by @venn.dining
Hello lovelies, We are Phoebe & Lena, two friends who came together through a shared passion & love for (plant) nourishment. We are both holistic chefs, each bringing our own background, knowledge and way of relating to food. Phoebe coming from a background of community experience and Ayurvedic practise and Lena with a PhD in Food Chemistry and ten years of living plant-based. When we met, it quickly became clear that we not only share the same passion, but also a vision for life & the values we want to live by. At the heart of what we do is a desire to bring people not only together, but closer to themselves. We see food as so much more than a necessity for life. It is nourishment. A love language. A practice of presence. A source of joy & sensual pleasure. And a gateway to getting to know yourself more intimately, and life that is moving through you. How are we caring for this body that carries us through life and enables us to experience all of it? How can food become not only a love language for others & ourselves, but also an expression of our creativity, intuition and aliveness? These are some of the questions that inspire the way we cook, create & hold space. And together, we are looking forward to welcoming you, nourishing you, sharing food & creating a space to come together, and perhaps, to come a little closer to yourself. Meet Phoebe. 🌿 She’s joining the Kelani kitchen this season — and we couldn’t be happier about it. 🙃 Phoebe is a holistic chef and Ayurvedic nutrition practitioner who cooks the way we like to live: unhurried, rooted in what’s local, and made with real intention. Her food is colourful, nourishing, and the kind that makes you slow down mid-bite. 🧘‍♀️ At Kelani, meals have always been more than fuel — they’re the moment the group comes together. Phoebe gets that. We think you’ll taste it. Welcome to the family, Phoebe. 🧡 #srilanka #holisticchef #ayurveda #foodporn by @venn.dining

A journey of ascension with @kairoslefkada 🌀 A secluded villa in the hills of Lefkada. An array of blue and vibrant greens as far as the eye can see. A group of gorgeous women. A menu designed in alignment with the retreat journey, built on local, organic, seasonal produce, deep holistic nourishment and Ayurvedic principles. Grateful to be able to get creative in a natural environment that invites so much, to take dips in the crispy turquoise sea, to see some of the most spectacular sunsets of my life - daily, to cook in a big open kitchen - chatting and hanging out, to play banging tunes and have lots of little kitchen boogies 🌞 🤍🤍🤍 by @venn.dining
