Miami did it again.

On October 31, 2026, Red Bull Flugtag made its spectacular return to Bayfront Park, bringing together 40,000 spectators for an unforgettable Halloween celebration of creativity, imagination, engineering and pure entertainment.

For the first time since 2013, the skies above Biscayne Bay became a stage for extraordinary ideas, fearless competitors and flying machines that were never guaranteed to fly.

𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗔 𝗙𝗟𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Since its debut in Vienna in 1992, Red Bull Flugtag had traveled to more than 50 countries, celebrating creativity, courage and the imagination to attempt the impossible.

After 13 years, Miami welcomed it back in spectacular fashion.

Some cities host events. Miami turns them into experiences.

After more than a decade, Red Bull Flugtag is finally returning to Miami, bringing one of the world’s most extraordinary celebrations of creativity, engineering and fearless imagination back to the Magic City.

And once again, Miami proves why it belongs on the global stage.

This Saturday, October 31, Bayfront Park will become the setting for an unforgettable spectacle as teams launch their homemade, human-powered flying machines from a 30-foot platform above Biscayne Bay.

No engines. No guarantees. Just imagination, teamwork and the courage to take flight.

With more than 100 editions held around the world, Red Bull Flugtag has become a global phenomenon, celebrating innovation, originality and the extraordinary things people can achieve together.

Its return is another reminder of Miami’s growing presence on the international stage, a city where culture, sports, entertainment and creativity come together in ways few places can match.

From world-class cultural experiences to spectacular international events, Miami continues to reinvent itself, attract global attention and give people new reasons to come together.

And this time, even the impossible gets a chance to fly.

WE DON’T HAVE FAVORITE PLACES | WE HAVE FAVORITE PEOPLE

We were always told that something special happens after five years.

Well, it looks like we won’t be breaking that tradition.

Five years ago, we arrived in Miami with an idea, a dream, and the determination to work hard. We had no idea how many doors we’d knock on, how many people we’d meet, or how deeply this city would become part of our lives.

Behind the Scenes Miami began as a dream. Today, it’s an ecosystem we keep building every day, with the same excitement we had at the start.

Looking back, what means the most isn’t what we’ve achieved. It’s the people we’ve met along the way.

Florida Grand Opera, Miami City Ballet, The Miami Symphony Orchestra, eMerge Americas, Gift of Life, Miami Film Festival, Gary Nader, and so many other remarkable institutions have opened their doors and made room for us in this city.

Because behind every institution are people. People who built bridges, gave us their time, trusted us, and offered us opportunities when all we had was a vision and the determination to make it real.

To every single one of you, THANK YOU.

And to our community, who show up for us, support us, and grow with us: thank you for being such an important part of this story.

Today, we’re celebrating a special milestone: our startup, Miami Dream Enterprises Inc., operating under the registered trade name Behind the Scenes Miami, has been accepted into NVIDIA Inception, NVIDIA’s global program supporting innovative tech startups.

We’re happy. Truly happy.

Not because we’ve reached the finish line, but because after five years of hard work, new doors are still opening.

We still have so much to learn, so much to build, and so much to give back to this city.

Maybe they were right about those five years after all.

And the best part? We’re just getting started.

With love and gratitude,

Ventura & Yelain

GEMS is underway: films and conversations across Miami

Miami Film Festival GEMS, presented by Miami Dade College, continues following its opening night, with an edition featuring 50 titles, filmmaker conversations and special tributes.

The festival opened with The Debut, directed by Jesse Eisenberg and starring Julianne Moore. The film follows a woman whose small role in a community theater production sparks an unexpected artistic ambition.

The lineup includes Pedro Almodóvar’s Bitter Christmas, James Gray’s Paper Tiger, Martin McDonagh’s Wild Horse Nine and La Bola Negra from Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi. Also featured is Rodrigo Sorogoyen’s The Beloved, starring Javier Bardem and Victoria Luengo. Jordan Firstman’s Club Kid is the closing night selection.

Beyond the screenings, the program includes a career conversation with John Turturro, a discussion with Los Javis and Guitarricadelafuente about La Bola Negra, and a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Hedwig and the Angry Inch with John Cameron Mitchell.

These encounters bring audiences closer to the creative choices and personal experiences behind the films, making GEMS a place to discover new perspectives and join the conversation.

This photo holds much more than a memory.

He was just a little boy in Spain, holding a hockey stick and carrying a dream that, at that age, felt like an enormous mountain: one day, to play hockey in the United States.

Today, he plays in American junior hockey, has been called up to represent Spain, and continues moving toward goals that are still waiting to be reached.

The road has not been short. And it has not always been easy. But maybe that is where the real lesson lives:

Big dreams are not always achieved through speed. They are achieved through endurance.

And there is still so much road ahead.
