Our longtime adventure student Christian loves time on the water, especially exploring the sea caves in La Jolla on a SUP or kayak. 🛶

If your child has a challenge with gaming and/or other electronic addictions, enroll them in a 3 month series of kayaking or standup paddle boarding with us. 🤙🏽

Each session is 2 hours of time on the water, recommended 2-3x per week. 😎

We specialize in social media and iPhone interventions! Ocean time is “PRESENT TIME” with us! 📲🚫

We believe that learning to play a musical instrument is one of the most effective ways for youth today to combat online & technology addiction in lasting ways.
We offer an” intro to music” 1 month series of weekly educational sessions mainly focused around visits to the @museumofmakingmusic
These sessions primary emphasis is on learning about eastern as well as western music & understanding the origins of stringed instruments globally.

For those READY to jump right into playing music, we offer an “into to guitar” 3 month series of lessons/sessions designed to be immersive and really personally engaging for the student. We make it fun, and teach our students to jam.

In our 1-2 hour guitar sessions we typically explore major & minor chords, basic scales & modes, as well as alternate tunings. We utilize those tunings as an adaptive modification for special needs musicians primarily, so they can participate even if the chord shapes are too hard to fret.

We have Acoustic and electric guitars available to borrow during lessons if students do not own their own instruments yet.

For the intermediate to advanced player, we offer effects modulation information & practical applications in your own signal chain. ie pedal board design & loop set up support.

“Loaner guitars” provided for lesson time for students who do not own instruments free of charge.

It was a special treat to support longtime @hansensurfboards employee @drewdurfey in participating in the paddle out & celebration of life and legacy of BELOVED local surf ICON Don Hansen today at Seaside Reef.

It was double SPECIAL for Drew, as today’s 4-6ft+ surf may have been some of the heaviest surf and current conditions he’s paddled out in!

On ANY other day building sandcastles would start looking really fun for Drew if the waves were big and powerful. Not today. 🏰

Today he OVERCAME his fear and anxiety and got the PAY OFF of joining his community and coworkers out in the paddle circle, not just on the beach. Good job Drew, we are ALL proud of u! 🤙🏽
