🏞️Posting this for keepsake; to look back on next year as I continue to learn and grow in photography.

These pictures were attained by my Canon R50, Canon R5 and DJI Air 3. I use Adobe Lightroom & Classic to edit my photos, though I try to keep it minimal with many and reflect what I saw with my own eyes. I recently picked up a Minolta Maxxum 700si (35mm Film Camera) from a lovely local here in Ouray, so I’m excited to see what wonderful work will be produced from that.

The tiny house is complete!!!

This tiny house is a 6x12 cargo trailer that’s been insulated and equipped with electricity, running water, a portable AC, diesel heater and Starlink internet! I also used recycled materials whenever I could provided by @ecorelics and a bunch of cedar given to me by my father.

I plan on making a longer video giving a tour as soon as I get everything moved in and settled. In the meantime, feel free to like, comment and share! Thank you 😄

🛠️ Built Not Bought

The video was nice, but here’s some photos of my tiny house to feast your eyes upon. I plan on painting art onto my cabinet doors similar to what I painted on one of the upper cabinets.

October has seen several friends in our community returning home to Jacksonville. Victor was a staple at @whatsina_verse back during our @raindogs5points days.

Originally from Jacksonville, FL, Victor is a talented photographer that currently resides in a small mountain town of Colorado called Ouray. Surrounded by the Shining Mountains, he spends much of his time hiking & climbing, as nature is his main source of inspiration behind his creativity. He hopes to inspire others to be true to themselves as he has learned to love himself through adversity.

“Perseverance” - 10/11/2026

Had a successful rainbow hunt at Owl Creek Pass & Chimney Rock/Courthouse Mtn area, while simultaneously enjoying the fall colors in full swing after the Gold Mountain Fire.

Beauty in the midst of destruction is a reminder that we’re still full of wonderful things despite whatever chaos this world may throw at us.

“The Mother of Thunder”
Potosi Peak - 10/04/2026

What an incredible mountain, and by far my favorite. As many of you know, climbing mountains isn’t something I do for fame or glory even if I enjoy photographing and recording my experiences for my friends and family to live vicariously through them, no, I climb because each one of these summits has a lesson, and with Potosi it was a deep and personal one just like Sneffels. When I looked upon her last year for the first time, I knew there was something there waiting to be discovered within.

I call her the “Mother of Thunder” because Potosi means “thunder” or “good fortune”. Thunder in my Native American ancestry brings clairvoyance and guidance in the midst of hardship or adversity, and boy, has that been a theme these past 2 months. It’s taken some time due to weather or health hindering my previous attempts on summiting, but I knew it just wasn’t the right time. My heart is still mending, but I feel full of life again and grateful for the many friends I have made here and abroad that continue to support and believe in me.

Onto the next adventure!

“Drifting Veil” - 09/30/2026

Footage from the rain storm Wednesday morning. I will never grow tired of watching low hanging clouds move through the mountains and their forests. It reminds me of when my friend Josef and I experienced this same event on top of Twin Peaks last year.

🌈“Heaven Bound” - 09/28/2025

Realized I never made a post for this, but on this day one year ago, I caught this incredible rainbow over Ouray after chasing this storm from Red Mountain Pass. I was recording fall colors the entire day and when I got ahead of it, I started to see the left side form over town. With only 20% battery left in my drone, I booted it up and rapidly ascended, capturing this photo as the arch fully formed.

My boss would tease me about rainbows forming while on working hours, saying “Would be nice to be out there with that camera, wouldn’t it?”. I responded “Keep it up, cause I’ll capture one you’ll buy off of me and it’ll be hanging in your store” and look where we are now.

Fun fact: the left side of the rainbow ends at the house that I now live in. I like to think this was a wonderful synchronicity showing my place in this wonderful little town.
