ITEM 5 : Ultrasound

“From 2024-25 I worked at a physical media store selling used books, cds, etc, and at one point began collecting anything found between the pages of books.

Starting as a characteristic impulse to keep useless things I find, it turned more intentional as I noticed the way certain items gave insight into the previous owners’ lives—I found business cards, lovers quarrels, pictures of dogs, an unused handkerchief. I became interested in the way that all I had was this one object to base my entire perception of the previous owner on. It was an exercise in imagining, with a natural constraint of having no way to trace the bookmarks back to the people that once used them.”

This is one of the items, scanned. I am working on making a zine documenting all of them now & will be sharing more scans here until it’s finished! by @venus.jefferies

ITEM 4 : Claims

The list seems to read :
“Public embarrassment
Failing grade
Kicked out of school
2-semester suspension
*indistinguishable*
Examples :
*indistinguishable*
Values
Some people would rather get a good grade than a 0.”
