👋 Hi! I’m Rhiannon — the proud mother/founder of Venus Naturopathy. I’m a degree-qualified naturopath with a deep passion for helping people reconnect with themselves and their health through realistic, individualised support. I knew from quite a young age that I wanted to be a naturopath after meeting my aunty’s friend who was a naturopath. A few shots of olive leaf, an introduction to herbal teas, and the realisation that I could basically be a qualified witch had me completely hooked! Since then, my respect and admiration for naturopathy has only deepened. I’ve been supported by incredible naturopaths through various stages of my own health journey — particularly with mental health challenges and chronic period pain — and I honestly don’t know how I would have managed without them. The safety, understanding, and empowerment I found through that support are what continue to inspire the work I do today. Living with ADHD, chronic pain, anxiety, and PMDD has greatly shaped how I practice. I’m deeply driven to support those who have felt misunderstood or dismissed in standard healthcare settings. My particular interest (or hyperfocus, if you will) lies in helping people navigate neurodivergence, PMDD, emotional dysregulation, chronic fatigue, endometriosis, and hormonal struggles. Outside of clinic, some of my loves include exploring different forms of dancing 💃 (pole is my current obsession!), painting, and spending time in nature — especially ocean swims and being a lizard in the sun 🦎. I love learning new flow toys (a very satisfying scratch for my ADHD brain 🤤), indulging in quality, delicious food, and fully embracing rest (hello cosy time watching a movie or reading a book). I also have a keen interest in psychology and astrology, which often weave their way into how I understand people and the world. My practice is rooted in the belief that healing isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” — it’s about understanding and supporting your body’s unique needs. Venus is a safe, inclusive space to feel heard, understood, and empowered in your health and healing journey. So, if you’re new here, welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found your way into this space 🫶 by @venus_naturopathy

Simple, grounding choices that gently calm the stress response. Feeling anxious, burnt out, or constantly “on”? I support individuals with gentle, personalised naturopathic care to help gently retrain and regulate the nervous system. ✨ Book via link in bio ✨ by @venus_naturopathy

Deep sleep isn't a fairy tale 🧚‍♀️ - you're just not getting the right type of support. ° There’s rarely someone I come across that says they sleep a full 8 hours and wake up feeling refreshed – which is crazy to think about, considering sleep is one of the main pillars for good health. I get it though. I would always report that “I’ve never been that great at sleeping, even since I was a kid” anytime sleep was the topic of conversation or at health appointments. I’ve struggled with insomnia, stress-induced sleeplessness, irregular sleep cycles due to work, and also relying on substances to switch off and help me fall asleep – but still not waking up feeling truly rested. What changed things for me was understanding why sleep wasn’t happening and working with my body, not against it. I quickly realized that when my body feels safe, nourished, and supported — sleep follows. Herbal and nutritional support has done ✨️wonders✨️ for my sleep - and for many of my clients 🫶. Now I sleep 8 hours most nights without waking throughout the night and wake up feeling like I've actually slept, which I never really thought was possible. If sleep feels out of reach, know that things can change. You don’t have to settle for sleeplessness! Together, we can explore what your body is asking for and gently support it back to a place of safety, rest, and deep sleep 💤 I’m here to meet you where you’re at. 1:1 Naturopathic consultations available via the link in bio. ✨ SWs receive 10% off naturopathy consultations. 🦷✨ Did you know your mouth is part of your gut? And that your oral health directly impacts your gut health?! Your mouth is actually the very beginning of your digestive tract — what happens here sets the foundation for everything that follows in digestion. Just like your gut, your mouth has its own microbiome — a living ecosystem! When balanced, this community of bacteria protects your teeth and gums, supports digestion, and even communicates with your gut microbiome through shared immune and neural pathways. When the oral microbiome becomes imbalanced, it can contribute to gut dysbiosis, inflammation, and even affect mood and cardiovascular health. Lately, I’ve been delving deeper into my own oral health and supporting my oral microbiome through these naturopathic foundations and targeted oral probiotics. 👉 Swipe through for tips on supporting a healthy, thriving oral microbiome — from a clinical naturopathic perspective. On a personal note, I’ve been seeing the wonderful team at @sagespace.au for my dental care, and it’s honestly been such a positive experience. The space feels calm, safe, and welcoming. They even have headphones and Netflix, so you can relax while they work! It’s especially comforting for anxious and neurodivergent folks (like myself) who usually dread dental visits. Not an ad — just genuine gratitude for a dental space that feels human and non-judgemental. 🫶 #OralMicrobiome #Naturopathy #GutHealth #HolisticHealth #OralHealth #MicrobiomeSupport #IntegrativeWellness #NaturalHealth #WollongongNaturopath #NeurodivergentHealth #neuroaffirming #HolisticDentistry by @venus_naturopathy
🍳 Protein: the quiet powerhouse behind your vitality. It’s so much more than a “gym bro nutrient” — protein forms the structure of your hormones, neurotransmitters, enzymes, skin, and every cell in your body. It supports your energy, mood, and balance on the deepest level. Yet.. so many people (especially women and neurodivergent folks) simply don’t eat enough. Low protein intake can leave you feeling tired, moody, craving sugar, or struggling to recover after exercise. Getting enough protein helps you feel grounded, stable, and energised — supporting everything from hormone balance to emotional regulation. If you’re not sure whether you’re getting enough — or you’d like support optimising your energy, hormones, and mood through food — I’d love to help 🌿💌 #naturopath #nutrition #protein #hormonehealth #naturopathy #womenshealth #neurodivergentwellness #fatigue #naturopathy #holistichealth #adhd #neurodivergentfriendly #neurodivergentaffirming #autismawareness by @venus_naturopathy
Hey lovely, here’s your reminder 💌 If you’re experiencing intense low mood, anxiety, fatigue, or mood swings in the luteal phase (the week or two before your period) — that’s not “just PMS.” It may be PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) 💗 PMDD is a DSM-5 recognised condition — a severe cyclical mood disorder that affects around 5% of menstruating individuals. And while it’s common, it’s not something you have to suffer through in silence. As a clinical naturopath, I support clients with PMDD by helping to regulate hormones, nourish the nervous system, and create personalised nutrition and lifestyle strategies that make your cycle feel more balanced 🌸 You shouldn’t have to dread your cycle nor should you feel like you’re losing control every month 🌪 Book a consult today, and let’s work on it together x #PMDD #womenshealth #mentalhealth #neurodivergence #naturopath #naturopathy #selfcare #wellness #health by @venus_naturopathy
Your nervous system loves simple, everyday care 🌿 Here are 4 daily habits that feel like a warm hug: 💧 Stay hydrated – Sip on at least 2L of water daily to keep your body and mind feeling clear and calm. 🍳 Protein with every meal – Aim for around 30g of protein to steady blood sugar and support balanced emotions and energy. 🍵 Sip on herbal teas – Enjoy calming teaslike chamomile, oat straw, or passionflower to gently soothe your nervous system. Remember: Herbal teas contribute to your hydration intake! ☕ Take mindful breaks – Even taking just a couple of minutes in a quiet spot, with no screens, can reduce agitation and stress in your nervous system. Pause throughout your day to breathe, reset, and give your nervous system a chance to rest. ✨ These small shifts can support your mood, energy, and resilience in big ways. 🌙 Reminder: My launch offers are only available until August 31st!
