Behind every cinematic espresso shot is a grown adult lying sideways in a café at 7am with a camera, whispering “don’t move” to a pastry.

Three espressos were harmed in the making of this reel.

Chefs moving like a Formula 1 pit crew.
Me, moving like I’m flame- and sauce-proof.
In and out before anyone notices.

Fashion videographers dress up like they might meet an ex, a priest, and a Vogue photographer on the way to lunch.

Me as an F&B videographer? I show up dressed for climbing chairs, crawling floors, and surviving whatever “secret sauce” lands on me.

Put simply: Fashion videographers are “effortlessly editorial”.
Restaurant videographers are effortlessly stain-proof.

Dubai Race as a videographer is when it’s mid December and clients suddenly remember Christmas exists.
It’s 6.30 am, and I’m racing through a half-asleep Dubai mall loaded with equipment like a caffeinated pack mule. Half the gear’s on my back.
The other half fits in the bags under my eyes - because by the time I’m done, it’s morning again.
Put simply: December shoots are chaos. And an absolute magic.
Dubai’s best season just walked in.

What makes a good story?
It’s that feeling you get when you experience it.
A good story, film, or design – it’s all about creating an emotional connection.
So what feeling do you want your viewers to have when they watch your video?
Use different angles.
Experiment with lighting techniques.
Incorporate people to evoke emotions.
Make the most of that.

Stay tuned for more.

What if I said your place is in the spotlight?

What if I told you your dream life was within reach?
The work you’ve always dreamed of, the body you’ve always desired, the skills you’ve always wanted – it’s all possible.
It takes only six months to achieve something you truly want.
There’s just one catch, though.
You need to show up, every single day.
You know, deep down, that’s what you need to do.
Make a gift to your future self.
Take small steps.
One step at a time.

Design of amazing @monolith.studio, check them out, friends

Why isn’t anyone talking about how truly challenging it can be to find new ideas?
Actually, it’s challenging only until you discover a way to generate them consistently.

Sourcing creative ideas can be just as easy as getting your morning routine down pat. Every creative process can be broken down into a set of daily steps.

Here’s a quick tip: use the power of AI. Take those 3 video ideas you saved that you LOVED, feed them into an AI tool, and ask it to give you 5 more!
Results might surprise you.
You are welcome.
