The first Hanukkah candle was lit last night.💫✨️ Hanukkah lights feel different in Kazimierz quarter in Krakow, Poland

Walking through Krakow’s Jewish Quarter during Hanukkah, you can feel how the story of this place and the story of the holiday quietly meet. Kazimierz has seen centuries of Jewish life — celebrations, prayers, everyday moments — and during Hanukkah it feels as if the past gently lights up the present.

Hanukkah is about light that refuses to disappear. About a small flame lasting longer than expected. In Kazimierz, those candles feel symbolic: glowing in streets that remember resilience, faith, and survival. Stone walls, old synagogues, narrow streets — everything seems to reflect that warm, steady light.

This carousel is my little journey through Kazimierz during Hanukkah — where history, memory, and hope shine together, one candle at a time.🕯️✨

Kraków at night feels like a quiet love story 🌙✨
The crowds fade, the lights soften, and the city starts to whisper. Cobblestone streets glow under lanterns, the Main Square breathes history, and the Vistula reflects the castles like a mirror of memories.

Walking here after sunset feels timeless — hand in hand with the past, wrapped in warm lights, soft music drifting from hidden courtyards. Kraków doesn’t try to impress at night… it simply lets you fall in love 🤍

If you want to feel romance without words, just walk. The city will do the rest.
