Hi Everyone! I don’t post much on Instagram ( more on FB!) but I wanted to share this fun, wonderful experience I got to have at The Global Ambassador Hotel in Phoenix, yesterday…. A transformational women’s mini yoga retreat given by Brooke Burke, an amazing woman of strength and loving presence. Thank you, Brooke 🙏 @brookeburke @brookeburkebody by @verahieduke

I get inspired to write sometimes and wanted to share…disclaimer: there is reference here to Jesus , as I am Christian and on a Lenten journey. But, please interject your Higher Power of choice for yourself, while reading. 🙏

A Springtime Smile copyright © Vera Hieduke

The morning, AM, mystique and glory is there for our taking if we are still, quiet and willingly open to receive its gifts.

As the wintry days melt away and unfold layers of fresh newness at every dawn, the Springtime unveiling begins to tantalize each sense one by one…. and all at once. First a small breath of clean new air, then a long inhale of life-giving oxygenated lung-filling aura…. The aura that says, ‘Hi, it’s me again, here to refresh your spirit with an injection of hope, health, vitality and joy that you’ve been needing!’

The calming coos of doves in the branches nearby, the purrs and buzzes of the red-winged black bird’s glee-filled calls…. The chirpy happy sounds of the tweetie birds….they all create a Springtime smile within my soul.

And then I bring in Jesus… my God , my friend, my consoler….i thank Him for all of this… He has given us this day and this experience of new hope and life every year to remind us of our heavenly existence with Him. Ahh, we are with Him here on our Journey on Earth through life… as we are with Him in Heaven but we get distractions here on Earth, of not-so-perfect flaws that interfere with the perfection of Heaven. It’s ok… let’s keep our eyes focussed on the beauty and love that is here … God provides this for us daily. Take it in… receive it. Allow it to nurture and sustain you. Eat your daily bread so that it will carry you through the hungry times. by @verahieduke
