Here's an edited version of Lachlan from @passionforsoundau walking through his process for setting up a home hi-fi listening space. He covers speaker positioning, room acoustics, and how a range of our acoustic treatment products can help create a better listening experience. This edit highlights some of the key takeaways from the full video, where he also shares in-depth reviews of a wide range of hi-fi equipment. by @verbox.acoustics

I was super happy to be part of this amazing exhibition at the NGV. Its called 'Mercy' and features several audio/visual rooms presenting work from the Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson. We provided a large number of acoustic panels for a few of the rooms which are very subtly hidden from view but are certainly having a big impact on the experience. Highly recommend people to go check this out! by @verbox.acoustics

On a recent session we were pleased to use a selection of our new custom designed @verbox.acoustics gobos. They worked a treat isolating the double bass and ensuring sight lines to the pianist, drummer in the Solo Room and the film on a nearby mobile screen. This first use has inspired some great ideas for our next set ups for jazz trios and bands. Great working with you Tom. #recordingstudio #acousticpanels #gobo taken in Kew, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. by @verbox.acoustics

@camtrewinaudio before and after. We brought some pretty long decay tails right down with a substantial amount of treatment and speaker positioning adjustments. Only a few low-end frequencies are still hanging around, which we'll tackle with some resonators down the track.

Day 3 of the build - desk @fusionstudioworks , furniture & partial Atmos speaker placement day. All treatment is up and installed massive thanks again to @verbox.acoustics …. Now playing around with speaker placement and listening positions to get best results. Will post new room measurements soon, but overall RT60 is sitting under 200ms.

Bit more work to go but the space is feeling warm and light filled. On initial listens - flat with no room correction @pmcspeakers_pro are feeling tight and imaged perfectly.

Oh and the green couch is fucked for some reason, must have got damaged in the move I sat on it and had pole go up my arse. Lovely 🫥

Back soon 🗣️ taken in St Kilda, Victoria by @verbox.acoustics
