Saturday February 7th with …

@this__sisi : UK-born DJ, writer, and curator based in Berlin. From playing Horst to Garbicz Festival, and co-running Slinky, a queer party for deep, groovy music, SiSi’s selections are warm and moody, with a sense of the strange lingering in the ether. Prepare to feel safe, seen, and encouraged to let go.

One of the key players in Miami making waves worldwide is @pablo.arrangoiz . Under his alias DJ Fitness, he captures the essence of his favorite dance music while adding a touch of the angular, freaky, and functional. Much like his productions, a DJ Fitness set smoothly traverses many styles, keeping the energy high and the sound fully custom. Expect the unexpected

Truly one who needs little introduction, @terencetabeau lives for the wild and the uncertain, with a deep penchant for the “out there.” Hoarding records for more than two decades and countless musical adventures, from The Electric Pickle to Public Records to Mago in Japan, his bag runs deep. We’re excited to see what he’ll pull out for the occasion.

From NYC, a true visionary who wears many hats, @ameliaholt is making her mark worldwide. From running @honeytrap.nyc to building an enthusiastic following for her unique sense of rhythm and expansive sound, Holt crafts DJ sets that transform any dancefloor into a culture-bending, otherworldly experience. One may hear her play broken beats, deep high-octane dance, alt-techno, sharp electro, and delusional krautrock, sometimes all in the same night.

A new VERBS Files is here. A one hour all-original live recording by @rolandosimmonsmusic ~ full of unexpected twists, turns and beautiful surprises.

A bit about @rolandosimmonsmusic and this mix:

”This little mix is a documentation of a magical summer in my house. I’ve had friends stay over during an intense long heatwave, and these tracks have been sketched out while hanging out drinking aperol spritzes and chilled wine, and after my friends have gone to sleep. It’s a combination of sketches, short jams, almost finished tracks and repurposed bits.
For those wondering who I am, I am a guy operating, quite comfortably, from the shadowy underbelly of the european experimental techno scene since the early 2000s. I was talked into releasing an EP on 030303 Records in 2014. Since then I’ve put out more stuff on Analogical Force, Love Love Recs, U.T.T.E.R., Furthur Electronix.

I’ve gotten reports that both Autechre and Aphex Twin have DJ:ed my tracks, which is perhaps my biggest (second hand) achievement so far, since they are known for quite different styles of music.

Big thanks to Giovanna Elia for inviting me, and to anyone listening, buying my records and/or playing them out.” by @verbs.miami

What a beautiful journey Saturday night was. Thank you to @duun___ , @adobeprincess , @ekkel__ , and @gioelia_ for the magic they created behind the decks and for bringing a whole new world to life + and to our entire crew who helped manifest the vision. The magic really does keep on building here.

Til we meet again in October ❤️‍🔥
