1 of 1! 🏆 Did you know only 759 Lotus Evora GTs were ever produced!? Of those, 535 were manual transmission and just 4 were ordered with the $8100 bespoke Verde Ithaca (Lamborghini) paint. Only 1 (you're looking at it) has the full carbon pack, bespoke double stitching, and lower black pack. 👽💫

Fun comparison facts: ~4700 Porsche Cayman GT4s were sent to North America (1500 981s and 3200 718s), ~16k BMW F80 M3s, 87k MK7 GTIs, and 100k+ C8 Corvettes. There have been nearly 25k Lamborghini Huracans produced total (though I can't find specific North American sales data). 😮

Lotus are certainly a rare and esoteric breed! Should be an exciting next few years with the Emira and future EV lineup starting deliveries here finally. Shout out to @bboixtc for the Evora stats! 📊 😎

Long post alert! ⚠️ I made the call this week and officially cancelled my Emira order and got my deposits refunded. Without going into too much detail on how or why I came to this extremely difficult decision (most of my concerns and complaints can be found in my EmiraForum post history), I'll just say that it was the right decision for me. I'm tired of waiting and I just wasn't as excited for the Seneca Blue First Edition that I fell in love with nearly 24 months ago (and spec ordered 16 months ago). No car should be causing stress and that's what the Emira delays and poor comms have been doing to me.

With that being said, I do have some good news... I'll be flying out to pick up and drive home my new car tomorrow morning!! I'm extremely excited as it's been one of my dream cars, in my dream spec, and it checks all the boxes for me. I feel lucky that I have the opportunity to own it and looking forward to sharing the details later. 🤫 I feel re-energized and excited for a car again and that's what this is all about, right? 😉

More good news: I plan to continue updating this page with Emira and [mystery new car] content, as well as moderating and contributing to the EmiraForum! I've made a lot of friends through this account and we have a great group of enthusiasts on the forum. Plus my best friend (who lives just ~5 miles away and ordered an Emira at the same time) is following through with his Magma Red First Edition purchase, so I'll still be contributing lots of Emira content as we'll be attending track days and other car events together whenever possible. 😎🏁

✳️ June 2023 edit: For those who don't know, I created this account as @v6emira way back in 2021 when the Lotus Emira was first announced and I put a deposit down. This account was used to track and post Emira updates and leaks. In October of 2021, I posted these Evora GT pics as my dream spec (and dream color) for the Emira, thinking I'd never have the opportunity to actually own this exact car since only 3 manual Verde Ithaca GTs were made for North America. It's funny how things work out, because 2 years after making this post, this exact car is in my garage and I couldn't be happier. 😎

▶️ Original Oct. 2021 post: What's your dream color for the Emira? Mine is Verde Ithaca with carbon accents. It's like Mountain Dew and coolant mixed to make this loud and exciting color... Analog film. Analog car. 💚🎞️

First two shot on 120 medium format film, with the third on 35mm. Analog just hits different in these digital days—not only with cameras, but especially with cars.

A few of the reasons my Lotus Evora GT is irreplaceable: 3 pedals, analog gauges, hydraulic steering, a petrol-powered 3.5L supercharged V6 mounted behind the driver, and no driver-assist BS getting in the way.

Driving this magnificent machine is visceral, engaging, and exciting every single time. ✨ 🏁
