We were honored to welcome President Bill Clinton and Secretary Hillary Clinton to Verdello last week! 🇺🇸

Thank you to both for choosing our neighborhood spot and for the warm conversation. It was a privilege to serve you.

As we approach our one-year anniversary on the Upper West Side, we’re filled with gratitude for this incredible community.

Thank you to our neighbors for embracing us, supporting us, and making Verdello feel like home from day one. Here’s to many more years of great food, warm hospitality, and memorable moments together. 🍝🍷 @hillaryclinton @clintonfoundation taken in Verdellonyc by @verdellonyc

Sicilian Dreams at Verdello: A Taste of Summer Magic🍋✨

Verdello transports diners straight to Sicily’s sun-soaked shores through their chef’s authentic culinary journey. This isn’t your typical NYC Italian spot – it’s a love letter to Southern Italian tradition, where “verdello” summer lemons from Sicily inspire every dish. With rustic wood-burning ovens, bright Mediterranean décor, and an Italian crew bringing pure Sicilian soul to every plate, it’s the perfect escape from Columbia’s academic grind! 🏖️

**The Pizza Experience** 🍕🔥
Watching the magic happen is half the fun! Fresh dough gets expertly stretched right before your eyes, then slides into that gorgeous wood oven for pure perfection. The **Funghi Pizza** delivers earthy shiitake vibes with creamy fior di latte, while the unexpected **Potato Pizza** surprises with tangy goat cheese and roasted pepper sweetness.

**Fresh Starters That Shine** 🥗
The **Tomato Salad & Burrata** screams summer with that creamy burrata center and aromatic basil pesto. Meanwhile, the **Beet Salad** brings beautiful color contrast

**Comfort in Every Bowl** 🍝
The **Parmigiana di Melanzane** layers silky baked eggplant with San Marzano perfection, while pasta lovers get treated to rich **Tagliatelle** swimming in wine-kissed beef ragù or delicate **Tortelloni** with that buttery sage kiss.

**Mains That Impress** 🥩🐟
The **Ribeye** delivers Italian steakhouse vibes – perfectly seared exterior giving way to juicy pink center, paired with luxurious oyster mushroom confit. The **Tuna** brings Mediterranean coastal flavors with black sesame crunch and bright lemon freshness.

This place seriously nails that “instant Sicily vacation” vibe – one bite and you’re transported to Mediterranean paradise! Perfect for treating yourself after those intense study sessions 🌊📚
