✌️ Two weeks until we Run For Our Lives on Saturday, October 24th!

20% of proceeds will go to the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation to support substance abuse recovery programs. The remaining 80% will help to support Verdun's Project SOAR; an eight week program available free of charge to adults in recovery designed to address the critical period immediately following rehabilitation or incarceration. SOAR introduces participants to healthy hobbies like kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, woodworking, disc golf, and others with the purpose of providing lifelong healthy activities for participants to engage in.

The fall cohort of the Groundwork Project tackled the catwalk today! 💪
The Groundwork Project is a career readiness and leadership development program open to youth that have an identified barrier to entering the workplace or graduating from college. These barriers are identified by teachers, counselors, or other qualified professionals. Verdun staff engage the participants in low and high rope challenges targeting specific skills such as communication, leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving. by @verdunadventurebound
