The squad heads to Baltimore for @charmcitycx this weekend. Kelly is looking to hang on to her top ten overall position in the USCX and Cole is looking to build on his form and pad his Taco Bell cash flow.

Will we finally see some mud this weekend?

Race Report: GMSR⛰️
Our regular season finished last week in Vermont at the Green Mountain Stage Race, probably the hardest junior stage race in America. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and Kash, Alex, Cormac, Lasse, Devin, and Joe were up for the challenge.

Green Mountain is four days and four very different races: a time trial, circuit race, road race, and criterium. It’s a solid final test of all a rider has learned during the season.
We got off to a great start in the 9km Warren time trial, with Kash 2nd, Alex 4th, and Cormac 10th.

The circuit race was probably our best team ride of the weekend. Alex and Cormac made a seven-man break that eventually gained ~3 minutes. That moved Alex into the yellow jersey and Cormac into 4th overall and the KOM jersey.

Then came the Queen Stage atop App Gap. The final 4km are brutally steep, with sections of 10–15% and the last 500 meters nearing 20%. Kash finished 6th, Alex 8th, and Cormac 9th. We lost the yellow jersey to a very good EF Onto rider, but only by 11 seconds.

The final day was the Burlington crit. Joe and Kash did a great job trying to set Alex up for the time bonuses he needed, but Alex and Cormac just didn’t have quite enough left to take on the very strong EF Onto team.

We finished 2nd, 4th, and 7th overall and won the KOM competition.

There is probably a bigger lesson from this race and really from the entire season.

Years ago, I wanted to win every race we entered. I still like winning, but I’ve learned that success isn’t always about winning the race in front of you. Sometimes you have to decide what the bigger goal is and be willing to sacrifice a little now so you can be better later.

Our goal this year was the World Championships, while giving this group as much European racing experience as possible. We started Green Mountain right after our fourth block of European racing. The riders were tired.

Now the focus shifts to Montréal and Worlds, Sept. 20–27. Alex, Cormac, and Sylvan will prioritize rest and recovery before Worlds, while Kash will continue his normal training since he missed the last block.

Thanks for following along,
Toby

The 2026 CX season is nigh. The southern half of Haute Factory Racing kicks it off tomorrow with the first race on the @vacyclocrossseries at HenBIKEo and we’re stoked to represent our support team between the tape!

Did Kelly knock this new kit design out of the park or WHAT?!

@kcrobers and @rayraygrams are up in Philadelphia and will start their season a little later than us but we sure wish they were here!

It takes a freakin village but here we are and we cant wait to hang with everyone! Head on over to @henricorecparks and hit the event calendar in their bio to register!

𝕄𝔸𝔻𝔼 𝔽𝕆ℝ 𝕄𝔼. 𝕃𝕀𝕋𝔼ℝ𝔸𝕃𝕃𝕐.
Because apparently, “one size fits all” wasn’t good enough

VRG. Made For You = custom fit, without the custom-bike-level price tag

Sleeves longer. Body longer. Bibs shorter.
Basically… less guessing, more riding

Use JPL10 for discount 🙌🏼

What a team! The boys delivered big time on the final day of GMSR! Took control of the crit from the start and lead it all the way to the win! I cannot thank these boys enough for delivering me to this win! Took a bit of ups and downs but we really showed what we can do when we all click together!

Thank you very much @compedgeracing / @chris__drummond @gholicky and anyone else who has helped with this road season. Lots of learning for us this season but ended it with a big success. Can’t wait till next year with these boys!
