Thanks to @knight_rider_historians for restoring and bringing out the original screen used knight rider semi I just had a damn near religious experience getting to see it in person. As someone who works in the automotive restoration field and has owned two Trans Ams as a direct result of being unhealthily obsessed with knight rider since the age of like 12 this was super special to get to see it first hand. I had the Bonnie outfit on for the occasion of course. Everyone kept finding it funny that I was an actual mechanic dressed as a fictional mechanic but it really do be like that sometimes.

It’s been a while since I last posted more than a story post on here, like a house and several cars ago oops. Been enjoying things settling in after my surgeries like 10 months ago now, still noticing little changes as the last bit of healing happens. It’s really cool for the first time getting to go about my day to day finally feeling like I’m myself.

I wish I could convey to those of you who don’t have to get surgically rearranged to just feel like a baseline amount of normalcy how awesome it is to just get to BE and how difficult it is without having that. It’s insane that the past few months I’m finally feeling what the other 99.9 percent of people just feel on a daily basis. Your average person will never know genuinely how special it is to just feel like yourself that the extent those of us who have to work for it in spite of all of the shit the world throws do.

Anyways it’s amazing what a nose and boob job can do for a bitch.. just kidding it was a bit more than that they were all up in my face with Milwaukee M18 power tools probably and they literally couldn’t fit anything more in my chest (I did ask). I hope you’ve enjoyed my incoherent ramblings and random assortment of pictures.

Oh and home ownership is weird, I have no bed frame or furniture, my motorcycle is in my living room and I’m planning several large car projects at the same time, yes I’m single right now is it that obvious?! by @veronica.wheels

What better way to test the results of a bunch of cosmetic work than at a traffic stop with a very upset sheriff?

Yes I’m back on my bullshit already :)
About a month out from recovery I started marathon prepping the Trans Am for the southern classic, because you don’t not do the bandit run in anything else other than a black and gold Trans Am when you have one sitting right there. Whole new front end, stepped up to a later formula 16 and had them powder coated in the right color, got snow rated GT all seasons because the weather was insane. Special thank you to my friend and phenomenal co driver Cat for continuing to have the same amount of screws loose and actually wanting to run with me again, these events are always such a great time and it’s such a great group of absolutely batshit car people and I love them all so dearly.

In other news, came back home after all that action to a burst heating water pipe so uuuh, always something.

Coast to coast in 34:50 in an old Mercedes diesel with 250,000 miles on the odometer.

Every single minute and dime that went into the prep for this was worth it, great people, great (slow) cars, and memories that’ll stick around forever. by @veronica.wheels

Dumping some of my backlog of Herbie autocross pics/ vids, a really cute Polaroid Kit took, and some other car show shenanigans. Racing Herbie is so much fun, if you told young me I would get to race around in Herbie some day I think her head would’ve exploded by @veronica.wheels

Posting some Polaroids Kit and I took (First two pics taken by Dan!) while visiting the Berkshire mall with @glitterwave80s and @thisisdanbell a while back! Genuinely can’t remember the last time I hung out in a mall with friends for that amount of time it almost felt illegal HA, meeting Dan was awesome he’s so lovely and just existing in that space was fantastic, there was even an arcade that had Initial D sit down racing machines with the save cards (I was irrationally excited about that) highly recommend dropping by there! taken in Berkshire Mall by @veronica.wheels
