Okay- I’ve just been in my head and keep posting and then taking down since I’m so shy lol. I really loved the angle when I reviewed the footage because I never really get to see my back. When I propped my tripod into the mirror and watched the footage I was really shocked to see that my back and shoulders have really developed.

A new chapter is coming. 🤍

Today officially marks one year since I began to solo travel and so much has changed in my life since then. After my hospitalization in the spring of 2025 I had to make a few major decisions. Do I continue working to the point of burnout? Do I take a step back from everything I had built in university? Do I pivot my career or do I stay in an industry that didn’t fit me? Do I stay in the same city forever or do I take a big step and go somewhere completely new?
•
365 days later I’ve traveled to so many different towns and cities across the the east coast I’ve truly lost count. I pivoted to two completely different industries for my career and finally found something I truly love and am passionate about. I took a chance and met so many new people and tried so many things.
•
This fall I’m starting a whole other field of study. In a whole other major. At a whole other school. The truth is that on the brink of death last spring, I realized that life is short. We’re not meant to take a linear path. Growing up includes making several pivots. Confidence is grounded in taking a risk and trusting yourself to pick up the pieces regardless of the outcome.
•
I hope that other people know that the life you want and a life worth living will cost you your old habits. It will also cost you your comfort in what you think you can control. I can’t believe this chapter is coming and I can’t wait for it to begin in less than 2 days. by @veronica_time_

If the audio works you might be able to hear me cheer and squeal over the new friends I made at Bar Chinios. They were so so sweet. Usually I like to dine alone or go to bars by myself and try mocktails. They made this trip extra extra special and though I’m often solo - I loved the company and conversation. Note to self - I have to bring some Philly chocolates or treats for my next visit to DC. by @veronica_time_
