🚨📣 RACE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 📣🚨

My next race is… 🙌🏼🥹♥️

NIKE AFTER DARK TOUR — LOS ANGELES 👟

There’s something really special about getting to run 13.1 miles alongside women who are all showing up for their own reasons, carrying their own stories and proving something to themselves.

This one is bigger than a finish time for me.

It’s another opportunity to show women who look like me, who are just starting, who don’t think they belong in running spaces yet… you belong here too 🫶🏼

Now the real question is… which pair are we wearing?! 💗👀😂👟♥️

📸: @erikreyesphotos - thank you for helping me capture these moments.

We have such high expectations of ourselves sometimes we forget how proud young versions of us would be 🥹💕

“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them”. - Walt Disney 💫

I decided on a last minute solo date to Disney for pictures, food and to work on my vision board/plans for 2025 ❤️

It has been wonderful, everyone I’ve encountered today had magic in them.

Happy Holiday season 🎊🎁🎉 and cheers to a new year. by @veronicapickle

From hearing his voice in my headphones to meeting him in person. 🥹🫶🏽

@coachbennett got me through so many miles during this training block. Those Nike Run Club guided runs became such a big part of my journey, especially on the long runs when I needed that extra reminder to keep going and trust myself.

Getting to meet him at Nike After Dark and tell him what that meant to me was honestly one of the highlights of my night. 🤍

Thank you, Coach Bennett, for being part of this girl’s running story ✨ #coachbennett #running #nikerunclub #nikeafterdark #runner by @veronicapickle

Went through my camera roll and realized… I really LIVED this October. 🥹🤎

So many memories with my people, laughs with friends, time with family, and moments that reminded me how good life can feel.

Then there were the personal breakthroughs, the things you can’t always capture in a picture but know changed something in you 🥹

October, you were FULL in the best way. 🍂✨

20 slides and still couldn’t fit it all. 🫶🏽

Feeling extra grateful for @scienceinsport and the support throughout this entire journey. 🥹🤍

Having a structured fueling plan I could depend on during training and carry into race day gave me one less thing to figure out and helped me feel prepared at the starting line.

From the long training runs to those 13.1 miles under the lights, I’m so thankful to have had SiS along the way. This race brought out ALL the emotions, and being able to experience it as part of this team made it even more special. 🌙✨

My heart is full. @scienceinsportusa

Four half marathons. Four finish times. So much growth between every single one. 🥹🏅

I’m still in awe of this weekend, but sharing my life here means sharing the hard parts, too.

Every day, I get messages saying I’ve inspired someone to start running, that I make it look fun and sometimes even easy. That means more to me than you know, but I want you to hear this part, too.

For eight weeks, I trained intentionally. I didn’t skip my runs. I made them fit around my life, my schedule, and my responsibilities, whether I felt like doing them or not. I showed up to that starting line feeling 110% prepared.

Then came hill after hill after hill. And a part of me was devastated when I realized this wasn’t going to be the race I had pictured.

I finished. I hit a PR. And it was still the most mentally challenging half marathon I’ve ever run. All of those things can be true.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Race after race, I’ve continued to improve, and this one reminded me that there is always more to learn. I’m walking away knowing I need to adjust my training and be more intentional about preparing for the course ahead. Forever a student of life. 🤍

I’m sharing all four finish times because I know somebody is looking at them thinking, “But I’m too slow,” or “I can’t even run a mile without stopping.”

Girl, you don’t have to start where someone else is today. There is room for your pace, your walk breaks, and your beginning.

And I’ll keep screaming it from the rooftops: It’s not about being the best. It’s about doing YOUR best.

Cheers to a PR. Cheers to finishing something hard. Cheers to learning, growing, and continuously showing up for ourselves.

Sí se puede. Even when it’s hard. Especially then. ❤️‍🔥 @nikerunning @nikela
