POSTS STORIES REELS

This week we celebrate and commemorate the 60th anniversary the Original Black Panther Party. We honor the legacy of the young men and women that put their lives on the line to protect and liberate our people. Black Panther Veteran @veronzabowers who is a member of our community and we are privileged to learn from, speaks on ways that we can honor those that have passed on. Let us also never forget to continue to fight for the liberation of all our comrades still locked in cages. #freeemall by @veronzabowers

What started as a shopping visit at a neighboring Business has turned into a beautiful relationship with one of the most remarkable people that we’ve ever met. Veronza was a captain in the Black Panther party before becoming a political prisoner for 51 years. He now has found a new home in the desert, where he teaches Chess every Sunday, mentors young leaders, and offers healing through meditation. Community chess lessons are every Sunday from 1 to 3. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn. by @veronzabowers

On SEPT 25, 2025, Assata Shakur ascended beyond limitations. During the portals of this Auspicious moon, we lift up our respects for Queen Mother Assata’s Revolutionary Light, with deep bows of gratitude for her genius affirmation of the Freedom for which we are all worthy.

So honored to have Veronza Bowers, Jr. back in LA April 24th for an evening of sound healing and grounding to find peace in the chaos.

We’ll be opening with a sound bath by @paradyse.x and lead to our feature @veronzabowers with @mickey.maestro on percussion. Times might be feeling uncertain these days, but don’t forget to breathe 1,2,3…. by @veronzabowers

Today is Veronza’s birthday!!!! We’ve been waiting on the right occasion to share this tribute to @veronzabowers who serves as a mentor, chess coach, teacher, spiritual healer and more to so many of us in this valley. He’s made an indelible mark in his short time in Phoenix and we’re eternally grateful. If you haven’t been fortunate enough to meet him, make sure you take the time. Please take a moment wish him a happy birthday and please contribute to his fundraiser as a thank you for all he’s done. Link is our bio. by @veronzabowers

This Thursday FEB 5Th - 6:30-9:30pm Berkeley, CA
Join @solestialchurch Solestial Sangha w/ former Black
Panther, @veronzabowers Veronza Bowers who’s back in the bay for an intimate meditation with fire, sound, story, and potluck.

Black Panther, Veronza brings his medicine through turtle island medicine songs and various flutes from around the world, offering sound as prayer, shaped by decades of practice inside and outside the prison walls. He was recently released from 51 years of incarceration where he offered spiritual healing to his fellow inmates and now is offering this to the world.

“In the Black Panther Party, we worked for the liberation of our people from oppression. But liberation is not only political—it is also spiritual, it is also healing. We have to heal ourselves, our communities, our relationships, in order to truly be free.” — Veronza Bowers Jr.

Original BPP Veteran @veronzabowers speaking on groups carrying on the legacy of the Black Panther Party. The Party went to great lengths to serve the people and were severely punished for it. We are honored to carry on just a small piece of the work they started. by @veronzabowers
