It took three days getting to Cambodia but seeing this place for the first time is something I'll never forget.
After landing in Phnom Penh, I drove five hours to Siem Reap and saw the temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom then checked out Kulen National Park.
A few days later I went back to Phnom Penh and spent time with a kid who Johnny and I sponsor to attend a school supported by the Cambodian Children's Fund and it was awesome meeting him and his little brother for the first time.
Having spent ten days there, it's hard to describe what I saw and felt. In the middle of these photos is a picture with an older gentleman named Bou Meng, an artist, who was one of twelve people to walk out of the S-21 prison free. While some of the country's not-too-distant past is beyond comprehension, it's such a beautiful and inspiring place.
The ancient cities, Buddhist temples and scenery are stunning, food is incredible and everyone I met was quick to flash a smile or peace sign.
Until next time 💙🇰🇭✌🏼#cambodia taken in Cambodia by @vertical.change
