still thinking
about my Sunday fun day.

i wore my fresh little outfit.

watched the trains.

watched the boats.

did a little

and noticed
a little bit
of everything.

my first florida hike
in my new backpack.

mom carried me.

i did some exploring.

lots to see.
lots to sniff.

nature is so lovely.

but whew…

a girl needs a nap
after all that.

cozy girl.
curious girl.
all tucked-in girl.

still looking around.

a girl can be both
cozy and curious.

mom says we’re going
on our first road trip adventure.

i’m not sure how i feel
about this yet.

in the meantime,
i better wash up.

a girl has to
look her best.

when sunday morning
hits a little hard.

you tuck yourself
back into the blankets.

and become
part of the bed.
