The met gala could never

Had so much fun whipping this up for the Spring Fling Ball challenge @mickysweho hosted by @d.i.v.o.s ❤️🤍 this was one of the first looks I wanted to make when I started the competition

When I think of spring I think of picnics and fresh food and new growth ;) I am also reminded of the first time I read Nabokov’s “Lolita” after finding a copy on spring break with my friends in the DR

"𝘔𝘺 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘤 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 (𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘯𝘪𝘤, 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨)"

I was inspired by a look I saw on @victoriascone + a mix of a few other queens and will detail my processes in a later video

—>> peep on over to @veryshy.designs where I am beginning to document more of my process making props + costume elements + officially taking commissions by popular demand😱

Hint: It belongs on a farm or on a teacher’s desk (and it’s not my ass)

New SpongeBob UNLOCKED ⛓️‍💥🧽

I installed magnets in my SpongeBob headpiece so now I can add little hats!

I made this pirate hat for Summer Splashdown hosted by @d.i.v.o.s @mickysweho every Thursday through August 🧜‍♀️ our week 3 theme was pirates and mermaids

Constructed as always out of paper mache & a red lacy garter belt I found to use as some last min trim!

Only three months until October!

Perfect time to start getting your spooky season looks ready 👻 I made this brain headpiece last summer for my Deaddie Mercury act with the materials below 👇

- Clay Foam
- Spray Paint
- ultra-fine glitter
- krylon crystal clear sealant spray

This was my first attempt at something out of my comfort zone (messy, “scary,” masc) for a zombie-themed challenge at The Crown - a drag king competition @hamburgermaryslb hosted by @kingphantom_2 (returning this summer!)
