For Dynamic Minds Conference 2026, we transformed the ruins of an old church into a rocket launch platform through projection mapping, animation, music, and sound design.

A dialogue between history and innovation—where centuries-old architecture became the stage for a journey into the future.

Animation, Music & Sound Design: Vesna Vega

For its stage adaptation, I developed dynamic shadow projections for scenography and a prerecorded shadow puppet sequence. Drawing from the deep blue hues of indigo—reminiscent of traditional tie-dyeing techniques and denim dye baths—I sought to capture the pollution of India’s rivers and the creeping stain of the textile industry that threatens them. #interference #Vesnavega #TheaterDesign #Scenography #ShadowProjections #PuppetTheater #Storytelling #MagicalRealism #Indigo #TextileIndustry #EnvironmentalArt #Rushdie #StageDesign #LightAndShadow #SustainableTheater #PerformanceArt #VisualStorytelling #PollutionAwareness by @vesnavega
