I believe my personal object obsession is heavily inspired by things I could find in my grandmother’s ‘kolonihavehus’*.

Trinkets she would have brought home from her travels to the Canary Islands or gifts from her eccentric friends.

The other part of my obsession is inspired by what any grandad would have in his study. Like that DFTP lamp !

A while ago Klaudia (@soiostudio) showed me the best snack for the 3pm energy drop! Dates filled with peanutbutter and sprinkled with sea salt, yummmm.

I always crave something sweet around that time of day, so I tried recreating it. While Klaudia served a whole tray for an event, I placed them on my favourite sea shell dish. I might have put too much peanutbutter 🤭 taken in Dubai, UAE by @vestige.objects

We found those vintage egg holders by WMF German Metalwork Fabrik and couldn’t wait to use it for all different kind of eggs!

WMF started as a metal repairing workshop in 1853 and by 1900 they become world’s largest producer and exporter of household metalware. They collaborated with many known designers to create their pieces.

Even famous Zaha Hadid designed cutlery set for WMF. Check it out. It is as futuristic and magnificent as her architectural projects. taken in Dubai, UAE by @vestige.objects
