A good story would not only make you sympathize with the characters (or relate to its specific circumstances 😶), it’d also make you look at your life. Look inside, look back, whatever it is, and it helps you define all of the emotions you felt. All the words that jumbled inside your head for so long that you couldn’t arrange. Yes, you visit your wound again, you feel the pain again, but right now you bring a different perspective. You bring an evidence that it’s not weird or pathetic to ever feel those feelings. You’re just being a human.
