I am very thrilled to announce that I have committed to Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music on a very gracious full ride merit-package to study with the amazing David McGill. I will be starting my Master’s degree there this fall, 2026.

I would not have been able to get to this point in my life on the Bassoon were it not for several people.
Thank you to my parents for allowing me to switch to such an expensive instrument and helping me get the tools and education I needed to become a competitive musician.
Thank you to my Professor, Thomas English for more than four years of amazing lessons, instruction, opportunities, and always pushing me to get the best out of myself not only as a musician, but as a person.
Thank you to my friends for making my time as an undergraduate student as memorable and fun as it was. We all strived for the best we could do together and I will never forget that.
Thank you to my partner, Wendy for constantly telling me to go practice and keep my head on straight with music and taking on gigs, and being the support I needed. by @vgmbassoon

At last, undergrad is over. There are now things I can do that I couldn’t when I started… so I suppose it was all worth it. No thanks to Ravel and Mozart 😡😡.

Time to announce my Senior “Bassoon” recital. It will be on May 4th at 2:00 PM in Fynes Hall. I hope to see you there!
