What makes our schiacciate so special..?

The bread 🙌🏼

Originating from Tuscany, schiacciata is typically made with simple ingredients like flour, water, yeast, olive oil, and salt.

However ours has three additional secret ingredients that makes it perfect as a base for a sandwich or by itself!

If you haven’t tried one yet, you’re seriously missing out.

What are you waiting for?

allo, Gianluca here, owner and director of Via Gianlu.

Just wanted to take a quick second to thank the 500 customers we’ve served in just one month at Via Gianlu. This Saturday officially marks four weeks in and I’m so excited to see where this can go and overwhelmed with the warm response we’ve gotten so far!

My life has changed drastically over the last eight weeks and I can finally say after months of stress and anxiety to get started, I’m finally at peace with my little van.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to publicly thank @eminem, @dualipa and the Rocky franchise for my motivation and inspiration in making this happen.

Mangiate bene and see you soon!

What an honour to have played a small part in the biggest ITALIAN FESTA in Melbourne 🇮🇹

A yearly event that has seen generations of Italian Australians, what started on lygon street with the crazy interactions - so we hear, now holding over 350 stalls. We feels so lucky to have been part of it with our family 🤍

We got on the tools today and made some (HEAPS) schiacciate for our amazing brother @viagianlu. Thank you to all who came down to support, we’re all incredibly grateful and look forward to many more record breaking days like this one. Grazie a tutti 🥹❤️

Special thank you to @beddavitaco for our favourite new hats 💕
