Since a lot of you guys liked our studio’s garden and asked several questions about it, here’s the reverse angle of it.

These 3 pics show the old #farmhouse as seen from the garden. Our #bandhouse will be on the upper floor of this exact house. The studio itself is behind the house. (from the perspective in the first picture)

In times of #corona it is pretty tough and risky to provide any sort of vacation offer but we’re absolutely confident that once this #pandemic nightmare is over, the band house will come in more than handy. 💁🏻‍♂️

If anyone had told me a year ago that I was about to build my very own #recordingstudio, I probably would have... let’s just say „severely doubted“ his judgement. 😌

But here I stand in exactly that: My #ownstudio. How did I get here, you might ask. I never considered myself to be especially hard-working or #ambitious. In the end, I built this whole studio myself though and I believe the reason for it has a lot to do with the following train of thought:

I guess you could generally say that one always needs at least 2 things to #achieve any dream. 2 things that is because the engine that gets you there is pretty much fueled by #motivation that comes from 2 opposite directions.

Let’s call one of them „drive“ and the other one „pressure“. Drive comes from within, it’s your #passion and your own joy for that dream. If you find the right dream, the #drive is going to preserve itself. This is widely known, so you’re probably not (yet) surprised by anything I said so far.

Pressure, on the other hand, comes from the outside world and is often overlooked. It even has a lot of negative connotation because it sure can be frightening sometimes. But in order to function properly and not just giving up, you need some #pressure.

It might also seem that you can’t affect pressure since it comes from outside - but in fact you can also put a certain amount of pressure on yourself just by changing your #mindset. Pressure needs to be there but you also have to address it the right way - meaning you need to #faceit instead of being paralysed by the fear of failing.

You see, if these 2 elements aren’t #balanced out and if you don’t create a situation in which both of them are strong enough... well, it‘s probably not gonna cut it.

So #keepdreaming and ask yourself this question: Do I have enough of both drive and pressure to #reachmygoal? If the answer is no, you might want to fix that right now. 🔥
