So what about Easter?

Easter is more than an April celebration, its not about easter eggs and bunnies, it's the heartbeat of the Christian faith.

It's the historical reality of Jesus, fully divine and fully human, conquering the grave.

With over 500 witnesses to his resurrection, this isn't just a story, it's the proof of his divinity and the end of our separation from God.

Because Jesus rose, the barriers of fear, death, and condemnation are gone. In their place, we are given righteousness and a direct, personal relationship with the God.

What does it mean to be born again?

In John 3, Jesus said no one can enter God’s kingdom unless they are born again. Nicodemus misunderstood, so Jesus explained, we must be born of water and Spirit.
In the original Greek, “and” ( kai ) means “which is” showing that water and Spirit mean the same thing. Throughout the Gospels, water symbolizes the Holy Spirit (John 4, John 7:38–39).

So being born again simply means receiving the Spirit of Christ.
And how do we receive the Spirit? By believing in Jesus and His finished work (Eph. 1:13, 1 John 5:1).

Being born again is not about living a sinless or moral life. Morality doesn’t give new birth the Spirit does. Many moral people don’t have God’s Spirit, but when the Spirit comes, He produces right living.

Salvation is by grace through faith, not works (Eph. 2:8).
We don’t clean ourselves to come to Jesus - we come as we are, and He cleans us. You can receive Jesus by confessing his lordship today!
That’s why believers are called righteous, sanctified, and Justified
